  • The provincetown beach areas have these fences, mostly along the roads, which prevent the sand from migrating on to the road. I love these areas for the everchanging landscape and, well, there’s just something about sand on your feet… Black and white work is somewhat of a departure for me but after living with this one for a while I began to like it a lot. Something about the contrasting geometric shapes of the fence and the rolling dunes brought into stark contrast which otherwise, might go unnoticed in a color rendition.

  • These pigeons took flight in Trafalgar Square, London, UK, when a lorry went past and honked his horn. They flew everywhere around our heads and then came back to land in the same position. The lorry driver must have laughed at the startled tourists and pigeons being caught unaware. This was taken on film and scanned to digital. I have added a layer of texture too.

  • this is another slightly crazy shot taken in Ballarat during the recent Ballarat International Foto Beinalle with my tiny fisheye lomo camera. It’s an accidental double exposure of two of the fabulous artists who where exhibiting there with a snap of one of the most picturesque river/drains that run through the city. On the left is Don Brice (Australia) who does lovely things with toy cameras and on the right is Thomas Roessler (Germany ) who does lovely things with rivers…..
