Taken at Wakki Beach. This place really does exist – near Scotts Head on the North Coast of NSW, Australia. SOLD one extra large canvas print – thanks to the buyer
This one is for those who were with me who chose to exercise while I took photos – makes no sense to me …. but I promised to share my impressions of Barwon Heads. Also to Linda who, against her better judgement, dragged herself out of bed to drive me down to the beach.
As people age, they often talk about how they become invisible to those around them, especially politicians and shop assistants. Both colour and reflection are used here to highlight one who is not invisible.
Took this one in Glasgow – separate entrances for boys and girls. I was imagining how young children felt as they entered this scary building and used the angle to capture from a child’s perspective. The clouds added a very ominous look to the scene. Tried this one in B&W – seems to have more impact than the colour version.

Fishermen near Southbeach, Wollongong on the south coast of NSW waiting for the first catch of the day. I love the peacefulness of this scene.

The Nan Tien Temple in Berkeley, near Wollongong, Australia is known as “Southern Paradise”. It is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere, and provides a spiritual link between east and west. A wonderful place for photography and for timeout for meditation. http://www.nantien.org.au/en/index.asp
This balloon appeared from nowhere, dropped and floated over our heads while we were busy chasing another one in Canberra early one morning
Love the texture of the rusty metal on the wall of this house in Portsea. Woohoo! Sold a medium sized framed print of this… thanks Gail.
Stunning early morning mist at the Cleveland Winery in Victoria. For me absolute tranquility during the shoot and an invitation to you to sit in that seat and enjoy the peace and harmony.
King’s Bridge, Launceston Tasmania on a work trip but just had to stop and get this shot as we walked across the bridge.

Off Wollongong at dawn as the fishing boats headed out to sea.
Watching the sun quickly creeping over the horizon, I turned to see where it was warming up the beach in the distance. I’m sure the fishermen were eagerly awaiting the warmth. Taken near the Women’s Pool, Flagstaff Hill, Wollongong, Australia
On the Domain Walkway, Sydney. Converted with HDR, then used LAb colour blend with overlay and inverse;. Finally used Flaming Pear chromosolarise to give the scary effect to the stranger. Welcome some feedback on this one.
