  • Ophelia lies down on a giant tree trunk and watch the clouds above her. When she is up there flying, the view and experience with the clouds is entirely different. Down where she is now, the clouds look puffy and cute, their ever changing forms fascinate her and tickle her sense of imagination. More owls should just pop out of their nests in the day time and admire the clouds :D / You can view and buy my other “Cloud Gazing (2)” creations at my Zazzle Gallery:

  • After making a few rounds of flight in the city suburbs, Ophelia decided to rest her wings. She found a balcony with little pots of sweet pink flowers and as usual started a long conversation with them that lasted late after midnight. It seemed that Ophelia liked befriending flowers than owls. What a peculiar owl! You can view and buy my other “Ophelia’s Pink Friends” creations at my Zazzle Gallery: / /

The Angels / May angels rest beside your door, / May you hear their voices sing. / May you feel their loving care for you, / May you hear their peace bells ring. / May angels always care for you, / And not let you trip and fall, / May they bear you up on angel’s wings, / May they keep you standing tall. / May they whisper wisdom in your ear, / May they touch you when you need, / May they remove from you each trace of fear, / May they keep you from feeling greed. / May they fill you with their presence, / May they show you love untold, / May they always stand beside you / And make you ever bold. / May they teach you what you need to know / About life here and here-after. / May they fill you always with their love / And give you the gift of laughter Unknown /

  • I’d like to dedicate this image to Jesika whose flights of imagination have inspired me and nudged me to try my own whimsical antics. Jesika, I was thinking of you and Jim who celebrates his birthday tomorrow while I was putting this together! I used the PS selection tool to select the eagle; then I copied it and pasted into the aircraft shot. / The eagle photo was taken this past weekend along the Louisiana bayous and the jet image was taken a couple of summers ago when I flew to visit my daughter and her family in Oklahoma. I thought I’d put the two together in a fun and fanciful stretch of imagination that wonders “What if we were neighbors in the sky?” On a similar note, I’d like to thank you, Jesika and Jim, for being Neighbors on the Planet. Though we are far away, I’m enriched by our acquaintance and growing friendship. The call on Christmas Day was a treat beyond words and the talk of the dinner table with family and friends! We felt like we were sharing an international Christmas, thanks to your hospitality across the miles! Happy Birthday, Jim! May the Lord give you the exhilaration of flight on your special day, January 14! Thanks, Jesika, for being my inspiration for this flight of fancy!

  • I was able to snap this shot of an owl and a crow “greeting” each other in my yard. It was the first time I’d ever seen such an encounter! I thought it would make a fun card and a unique way to send greetings to a friend or loved one.

  • The magnitude of life is overwhelming. Angels are here to help us take it peace by peace. / / Levende Waters

  • Roseate spoonbills feed in a southern Louisiana rice field, foraging for crawfish and whatever they can find in the shallow waters. This pair rose into flight, probably on their way back to the rookery to roost for the evening.
