This was a flamenco dancer that we saw when we were in Barcelona, Spain. It was very dark in the theater, so I added some special effects. Other sets by Kara… / NATURE / LANDSCAPES / PEOPLE / POEMS / PORTRAITS / SPORTS / SUNSETS / TRAVEL / ARTISTIC WORK / BOUDOIR / OTHER
The Magic Fountain in Barcelona
These are things I picked up on the Mediteranean coast in Spain.
The Gothic quarter of the city of Barcelona
These are the shells and driftwood I collected in Spain. I thought I would make a collage on some green foil paper and take a picture of it.

A side dish, sometimes referred to as a side order or simply a side, is a food item that accompanies the entrée or main course at a meal. A typical meal with a meat-based main dish might include one vegetable side dish, sometimes in the form of a salad, and one starch side dish, such as bread, potatoes, rice, or pasta.
I took this image in Spain…Bare tree branches against an azure sky…Recently back from a trip to Orihuela Costa in the Murcia area…This was taken near the Punta Prima beach…Hubby advised me it would make a great shot, sometimes worth listening to the hubby lol ;)
Pure white German Shepherd called “Sealas” with muddy, sandy paws…I asked permission from his owner to photograph this handsome dog & he gladly agreed…This was taken while we were on La Marina beach not far from Guadamar in Spain…Very clever dog, he kept burrowing in the sand & hiding his ball, then rediscovering it all over again; to the amusement of passersby…His owner says he loves the beach…Me too… ;)
/ While strolling along the coast in Orihuela costa, Spain I saw this crumbling building on the beach…Although I don’t normally like graffiti on buildings, this empty little box was enhanced by it…With the help of a green hue added, I now like this image & think it protrays creativity; where once there was none…Thanks ;) Bev x What do you think? /
Great flowers growing wild on scrub land & beach areas in Spain…They curl up when the sun goes in…Cheery blooms to brighten any day…
Indigenous people occupied this site as early as the 14th century for the same reason the Spaniards came to prize it – nearby salt mines. These ruins are of one of the missions the Spanish built along the Salinas trade route, circa 1630 – 1680. The mission, named San Gregorio de Abo, was destroyed during the Pueblo Uprising / of 1680. The mountains in the background are part of the the Manzano Mountain range, near Abo, New Mexico. Pentax K110D, F11, ISO 200, 1/500, 90mm.

I took this from a bus, while traveling between Madrid and Valencia, in Spain. I have no idea what this little village is called, but it was like something out of a movie. We past several of these on the 6 hour bus trip across the country. Spain has some spectacular scenery and quaint villages that almost seem trapped in time. Layered the original image twice, adjusted contrast and tone slightly. Added a texture layer from www.deviantart.com free use stock. Layered the texture several times over, adjusting the constrast, saturation and lightness on each to vary the colour and tone.
