  • Been in the south of Tassie for four days shooting stills for a client. Me the Creative Director with Andrew the Art Director and Garth the professional photographer. We had to climb down a 100 metre cliff face, normally out of bounds but opened to us by the kind lighthouse keeper. Was a seriously hairy climb! But it led us to an untouched, pristine and rarely shot location (which will remain our secret :). This is a photo I took whilst Garth and Andrew sat on a rocky outcrop waiting for the light to be perfect. – Dog photography – Africa photography / - Beach photography - Black & white photography – Dog photography – Africa photography / - Beach photography - Monotone photography

  • Shot in a secret location at the bottom of Tasmania. A classic 60’s Australian fibro beach house. Right on the sand of a pristine beach. – Dog photography – Africa photography / - Beach photography - Black & white photography – Dog photography – Africa photography / - Beach photography - Monotone photography

I find that when this happens, I generally say this and they almost run away as fast as they can!

  • she needs to try the real thing even when she got the cool Helly Kitty pretend camera LOL i’d say we gotta train them early these days! lol :)) i just love the expression on her face when she was checking the LCD to see if she got the shot….hehehe and no she didn’t get to hold it for long…she just wanted to try a couple of shots…even for those couple of shots i did not take my eyes of both of them, i was too scared she will drop my camera! lol :P NOTE: For Nikon DSLR group, this shot was taken with D80 and 50mm lens. The camera my daughter was holding was my Nikon D300 with a Tamron 17-50mm lens.

  • just a shot of last night’s ‘harvest moon’ taken through a heavy haze of woodsmoke (from woodstoves)...this was taken with a little Nikon P80 point and shoot, with it’s 18x zoom…I don’t know why I can’t get any decent moon shots with my Canon T1i and a 270mm lens (15x, supposedly…), all I get is a bright blur, auto or manual focus….sigh…oh well… 10/4/09 / Centreville, Md.
