Taken on Scenic Drive. Carmel, California. November, 2007. There’s an interesting story behind this photograph, and #244, “Scenic & 8th. I was in a local camera store in Carmel, the manager of the store was telling me my camera was a toy because it wasn’t a high priced SLR, like he seels in the store. Obviously this annoyed me because i knew what my camera was capable of doing. So I left the store, walked down toward the beach, saw these Cypress trees, and took these shots in about five minutes. / I then walked back up to the camera store, and showed them to the manager, and the staff. They were impressed with the quality of the images. / I love my camera! I’m using the Panasonic Lumix FZ-50 That is what I used to take almost all the photographs in my portfolio. I’m satisfied with the performance of that camera. The images speak for themselves.

This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. my back yard, NC sunset almost everyday….......beautiful, awesome i do love these , i find myself running to the sunsets sometimes, with the camera as not to Miss a shot…........once its gone, tooooooooo late, have to catch it while you can, My husband said the other day why you running, i said i have to catch the Sun, its going down…........he laughed at me….....see you in a little while…i said, hope you enjoy the Sunset with me…....i have many many of these, this one just happens to be in North Carolina…...........somewhere close to Heaven its on the map…......lol, a lot of little towns wont even show up on the map way out in the Country….......and we do live wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy out…in the COUNTRY..
