San Ignacio Lagoon is one of the best places in the world to see Gray whales and their calves up close. During the calving season you can go out into the lagoon in a small boat (called a panga), and after a short wait, the whale mum and calf will come up to you. They (mainly the calf) love to rub themselves against the boats and also to be scratched! You really get a close up look into their eyes! Then, just when you start to feel at one with each them, they blow salt water in your face and all over your camera! Cute fella!! This is probably one of the most “verbal” little cougars you’d ever want to meet. Sadaki’s story is not a sad one.. he was given to the sanctuary when the owner could no longer care for him. He’s playful and rowdy as only a young man can be. And, as you can tell from the picture, he’s VERY good at playing “hide and seek”. / I truly hope that another message comes through.. that these animals DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS.. that’s why places like Noah’s are in existence. If people would just think before they buy that cute LITTLE cub.. life would be easier on all of us especially the animals. After all.. they didn’t ask to be in the situation they are.. and there are far to many unscrupulous people out there that are in it for the money.. / At least with education, we might make a little difference.. even if we save just one animal.. it’s a beginning!! / All proceeds from any sales will be donated to Noah’s Lost Ark Sanctuary for the care and feeding of the animals.

This photo was taken in a local ruined building, its a fantastic place, great for photography….. I really liked this photo because of the incorporation of the band posters on the wall, a friend and i spent about an hour just looking at the layers and layers of posters on the walls, and my friend even found a poster of his dads old band in one of the rooms from about 30 years ago…

WILD AND FREE / / Young Mountain Gorilla playing at being king of the castle. There were about four young gorillas which were all trying to get him of the top of the mound – it was such fun to watch them play. To spend an hour with Mountain Gorillas is one of the best wildlife experiences you can ever hope for. They captivate you with their eyes and you become lost in the moment. Wedding at St Luke’s Church, West Norwood, London. 7th Nov 2009. / Bethany was a bridesmaid at Steph’s Wedding. I was intrigued to see her running up and down with such intense concentration upon her face. Her Grandmother told me later that she’d asked Bethany what she was doing and she replied, I’m just running, I’m just running. / When I got home a looked at this one she appeared to be floating. Marvellous what kids {Angels} can do:-) LOL. Camera Nikon D700 with 24-120mm Lense. /

The saga of an endeavor of a Being towards ultimate reality. Another aspect of the theory presented in Gerbera Poems – The Divine Play of Creation. We, the Hindus believe that this is not the ONLY life, we live. The endeavor of a being continues and one has lived countless lives in the past. This journey will continue till, the one reaches to the destination of Self realization. In fact, there is no destination as such, it exists within us. WE just have to uncover it. The being itself leaves the IMPRESSIONS of the forms or lives gone through ( the process of evolution from one level to another is imprinted ), like the Maya leaves for the divine creation. The being has no past or future. Once the being returns to it’s origin – Brahman, these impressions further reserved till the next cycle of creation. And the Divine play continues. . . . . . . PROCESSING : It was difficult to convert original color version to B&W as is. The converted image was about to loose the magic in the color version. Then, I placed one more layer of color version on B&W layers and fiddled in PS applying Gaussian Blurr & layers to get this result making me feel that I have only removed the color from the original image. Single RAW file was processed in Adobe Camera Raw. Finally balanced in PS with multiple layer processing. BETTER VIEWED LARGE. Equipment : Canon EOS 400D, Canon EF 100 mm MACRO lens.
