On a roadside in Scotland. I had to silently man-handle out-of-shot a friendly Scot who came up for a chat and hadn’t seen the robin.
This was one of my best first time shots I took in N. California. I feel this is the best photograph I have ever taken. it was one that my teacher told me was very good. I took this photo with a Sony Mavica 3X digital CD cam. What I really like about this the most is the balance and clarity. The colors are true to life as well NO correction was need at all. / / Copyright / These Images and Writings Do Not Belong To ANY Public Domain. LION’S SUNSET PHOTO BEST VIEWED LARGE. The month of March “came in like a lamb and went out like a lion!” You name it and you could have it – in terms of the weather, as we had everything from tornadoes to blizzards across the United States the last few days of March! This beautiful sunset was taken March 31, 2009, on the very last day of the month.* / Therefore I gave this photo (to the left) the title of: LION’S SUNSET. LION’S SUNSET REFLECTIONS, the photo I took in the side-view mirror / of my car, is shown below. Both photos shot with my Canon Digital EOS 40D. / Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens.

SEVERE WEATHER CLOUDS Best viewed large. These are the tops of some “severe weather clouds” I was able to capture during a “severe thunderstorm warning” on May 30, 2009 in Ashland, Kentucky. Very severe storms moved through my area that same evening. Photo shot with my Canon EOS 40D camera.

This beautiful mountain which is located in County Sligo, rises to a height of 497 m/1,730 ft. A prominent flat-topped limestone buttress, scored by erosion, it forms part of the Dartry range and dominates the surrounding landscape. The mountain is celebrated in ‘Under Ben Bulben’ by the poet W B Yeats, who is buried nearby in Drumcliff cemetery

Sweet William / Dianthus / Dianthus barbatus Best viewed large. This is my first Sweet William Dianthus to bloom this year. With its’ multi-colors of pinks and reds, it is a real beauty in my flower garden! / This Dianthus has vibrant flower clusters that attract hummingbirds and butterflies to my garden! Sweet William loves full sun, sweet, alkaline soil, lots of water, and grows from 10 to 18 inches tall. This “biennial” reseeds readily, providing beautiful flowers year after year. When landscaping, remember that Sweet William Dianthus is an added attraction to any flower or rock garden. It’s showy blooms will give your garden a gorgeous, colorful display when presented at or near the garden’s edge. Photo shot with my Canon EOS 40D camera.
