This is our new pup Phoebe Roo ( she’s like a kangaroo) she’s an Italian greyhound, only 13 weeks now. I have a pic of my other dog Millie on here so to be fair I took one of phoebe too.She has this one ear that is always sticking up. She is so fast now we cant even catch her, she sure is stirring up the house, we just love her to pieces !!
Acrylic On Canvas For those who may not be that familiar with Phoebe, she’s a patchwork bunny doll and the baby of the trio. She enjoys putting on all kinds of quirky caps and hats, she is never seen without them! And of course that earring on that left ear, she’s quite proud of it, she likes to think of herself as the funkiest patchwork bunny around :D Here she is….lugging her favourite toys around, finding someone to share her toys with :D / / You can view or buy my other “Phoebe’s Playtim” creations from my Zazzle Gallery: /
This is an acrylic painting (6×6 inches) of a beautiful Doberman named Phoebe. She is a rescue dog that found a forever home. I just wonder what she was thinking about when her picture was taken. Like all rescue animals, Phoebe must have some incredible stories that we will never know…
This is a photograph of our 5 month old Italian greyhound Phoebe roo, they are just a smaller breed than the greyhound. She loves to cuddle with us and her favorite blankets. They have a very thin coat and get chilled easily. When she sleeps on this blanket we don’t always see her so we yell “where’s my Phoebe” !!! ? and her head pops up. It’s kind of an abstract doggie portrait.
Acrylic on Canvas (Original Sold) Concept: Felt an urge to paint Phoebe in a Gustave Klimt-inspired costume after reading his biography. Was curious how Phoebe would look in it. A far cry from the master’s but painting Phoebe in that was fun!
Acrylic On Canvas Phoebe is the baby of the trio. She’s a patchwork bunny doll with a thing for hats and caps, she is never seen without them. She wears an earring on her left ear and thinks she must be the funkiest patchwork bunny around. Her fashion theme for this summer is Watermelon :D / / You can view and buy my other “Phoebe’s Summer” creations at my Zazzle Gallery:

Phoebe card / taken from an original Mixed Media Production / by Karin Taylor from the Beach Series The original painting was actually sold to a lovely friend of mine who teaches at my son’s school…..she has twins and one of them is named Phoebe! I had named the painting before she ever saw it…it wasn’t until after she’d purchased it that she told me about her daughter!

Phoebe, my black shepherd, LOVES those sticks! She dug this one out from under the snow and wouldn’t walk anymore because she wanted to eat it instead.
This tiny bird which I think is a phoebe is always alone and seldom ventures anywhere near the flocks of other birds that frequent my feeders, hence my title, “Little Loner.”

2008 Acrylic on Framed Board 50×50” / From Phoebe Series / Those beauitful green eyes that throw light, sparkle and smile all at the same time. This painting is one of dozens I have painted of Phoebe over the years. I have seen her grow up into a beautiful Goddess. At 30 she is still as beautiful if not more so than when she was 18 thats how long I have been painting her. Although she has been modeling for my former studios, since she was 12 years old. I remember her mother would bring her in and was always cleaning her face for Phoebe would always be eating something, and messing up her lipstick and face. She models for me from time to time, still a Goddess proably more so then ever, if you ever want to see men with their mouths open, all she has to do is walk in the room even in faded jeans or cut off shorts and a pony tail.
I think this is an Eastern Phoebe, a member of the flycatcher family. I’ve been trying to photograph it, and it FINALLY landed on a branch right outside my living room window. I had to shoot through the glass to get it, not the best situation, but I was still happy to get a closer look at my elusive little visitor. It doesn’t go to the feeders so it’s been quite a challenge trying to take of picture of this lovely little bird at close range. I was swathed in camouflage cloth from head to toe; thank God the meter reader didn’t come by and see the sight. I’m afraid I would have spooked him away. (I think this may be a juvenile phoebe as its breast has a yellow wash to it as described in the field guides).
While Phobe makes a game of terrorizing my cats, Poser won’t tolerate any of her bullying. Rather than back down from her, he’ll turn the tables and chase her all over the house, taking swipes at her nose with his big paw, as if daring her to take a bite. lol They do this all day long, every day, amusing themselves and everyone else like nobody’s business. lol
Phoebe egging Poser on. Unfortunately for Phoebe, Poser’s pretty quick with the right paw!! lol
