The Flamingos at The Philadelphia Zoo
The LOVE sculpture is located at the end of Benjamin Franklin Parkway and across from City Hall. It was designed by Robert Indiana and first placed in the plaza as part of the United States’ Bicentennial celebration.
Pictured is one of two Second Empire style staircases in Philadelphia City Hall, which, though constructed in the 19th century, remains the largest masonry civic structure in the world.
This is a great photo of 2 ships on the Delaware river. It is taken from the New Jersey side. There is a deep blue sky and deep blue water. Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia, PA
This was taken from the fire escape at my office with the Nikon D60. It was a beautiful Indian Summer day!
Taken from a moving bus,while I was on may way from Newyork to Philadelphia
A corridor in Eastern State Penitentiary that is said to be the site of a great deal of paranormal activity.
The cells in Eastern State were originally designed for solitude, but eventually the penitentiary grew so crowded that inmates were forced to double up.
This was taken on Delaware Avenue in Philadelphia. This is of course the Ben Franklin Bridge with the USS New Jersey in the background. Sunrise is one of my most favorite times of day, the other being sunset lol.
This was taken off rt 1 in philadelphia. Not sure of the cross streets but if you head west on the rt 1 access road you can’t miss it.
This was taken on Broad st heading south and on the northern edge of center city. You can see the William Penn statue of top of City Hall. Please feel free to give me your constructive criticism if you have any suggestions!
