Dear Friends, / I don’t think I have written since we became redundant so here is an update : After becoming redundant, i.e., fired, we were no longer able to keep up the mortgage, which led to the foreclosure, which we thought was surely The End. The United States Congress, however, did some money shuffling which led to bailouts of various entities – unfortunately not our entity. The Family, that is. / As part of the bailout, we were told to spend so that the economy of which we were no longer a part could be saved. Now this is where it gets tricky and we had to become creative to stimulate our economy because the government says so. / Therefore : / We are holding a sale of the furnishings and other general trash saved from foreclosure so that we can get money to spend to stimulate the economy and bail out the businesses which have nothing for us to buy, but so what, that is what is best for the USA. I am sure you are following all this and understand why, since there is no use for the money we will receive from our sale, we will be giving it to further assist our banks so they will have money to give credit and start the cycle all over again at 37%. Am enclosing directions to the paupers’ graveyard or whatever they call where they put indigents, as I expect we will be there soon.
