Arguably my most well known and most appreciated piece of artwork to date. Painted a little over a year ago in acrylics and ballpoint pen. I feel I should write more about it. But I just can’t think of anything.

This little fellow is a Greater Bushbaby. A species which is quite unbushbaby in its behaviour, apparently they are not very keen on jumping. This one was the shop pet in a pet store until it closed down. Fortunately a volunteer from ZSL London Zoo lived close to the shop and put the owners in contact with the zoo. I have forgotten the the bushbabys name but if any of you are Harry Potter fans he is named after a character with big ears from one of the books. Got it.

A variation on an old favourite. I edited the background off it with a view to making it into a tshirt design (as can be seen elsewhere on redbubble), and thought the little chap looks rather good sans foliage. So I thought I’d upload the trimmed image for your perusal.
