At one point a few years ago one of my clients came into my studio / gallery, saw the original hanging on the wall, and liked it so much he asked if I could airbrush one like it on the hood of his show Camaro. This is an adaptation of ” View to the Amalfi Coast ” by Carl Fredrik Aagaard of Denmark, 1833-1895. It was commissioned by M. Morris in Dallas, TX who contacted me and asked if I could do a mural on tumbled Italian marble. The 12” x 19” tiles were shipped to me and Ms. Morris and I collaborated via e-mail regarding how she wanted the image portrayed. It was hand painted and airbrushed using acrylic and tile sealer. The finished mural was shipped back to Dallas where it was installed onto a kitchen wall.

/ A Windpump in the north east of the Norfolk Broads. I think this is Horsey. If so, Horsey is a restored drainage windpump that affords striking views across Horsey Mere, one of the Norfolk Broads. The Mere is particularly well known for wintering wild fowl. There is access to the beach at Horsey Gap and a circular walk.

Back to the Leicester rural landscapes…..... / This was taken near the village of Ashby Magna. My timing could have been better – storm in the morning, sun at lunch, big fluffy clouds early afternoon, grey overcast later, then this. It is the opposite corner of the field in which I took Harvests Final Curtain a few days earlier.

The area on the forecourt of the pier has been desaturated slightly to reduce the sodium light effect from the clifftop lights
