  • A work i drew back when i first got started in the digital medium. It was drawn on a programme called StudioPaint – before i dove into the world of Photoshop.

  • A character my brother Pat and i thought up. Leo’s not dead yet!

  • This image was part of a series that i was putting together for some ideas for a new Capri. The image was trying to suggest a cleaner future (clean fuel etc.) as well hint at some of the romance of the automotive industry in the 1950’s perhaps.

  • A recent digital work on CS2. I love Rat Rod culture. This image was inspired by WWII aircraft and some work I’ve seen recently that develops USAF themes on Hot Rods.

  • An illustration of a grand old cat that stayed with me for a while when we lived in Canberra: Amadeus. This sketch is how i think he would have viewed himself.

  • Like many, i’ve been fascinated by dragons and dragon stories for a long time. I like the concept of the dragon as the all seeing, all powerful, wise old observer, watching the external chaos from a far – reluctant to become involved, yet at the same time, unable to allow evil take hold. This illustration was painted in photoshop, based off a hand sketch that i drew a few months earlier.

  • I drew this for a good friend of mine Ron; who loves rods, and has a pretty wicked imagination. I was trying to imagine a place where all the cars and characters that only ever existed in our imaginations reside. A parallel world, inspired by stories from Stephen King and T.V. shows like The Twilight Zone… I drew it as a rough pen sketch and then painted it in P’Shop.

  • The ‘32 ford is stuck in my mind at the moment. It’s such a minimal yet powerful piece of rolling sculpture.

  • I thought i’d have a go at some vector work. I wanted to keep it clean and simple in order to maximise it’s impact. The ‘32 ford is stuck in my mind at the moment. It’s such a minimal yet powerful piece of rolling sculpture.

  • My grandfather grew up in China prior to the second world war. He told me stories of an exciting existence, an intertwined reality of ex-pat decadence and rich Chinese culture. I wanted to design a motor car befitting of some of his stories, and create a scene of context. I suppose it’s a parallel universe viewpoint of an automobile that could have been. This image is dedicated to him.
