Taken at the Gardens of Herrenhausen…
I’ve bought six new IKEA glasses but one of them got broken when I washed it for the first time. Of course, I wouldn’t just throw it away, as well as my daughter couldn’t throw away a Camellia blossom she has found fallen at the ground two days later… / I believe these two imperfect subjects made a perfect combination. What do you think?
You’ve got magic inside your fingertips / Its leaking out all over my skin- Yeah / Everytime that I get close to you / you’re making me weak with the way / you look through those eyes And all I see is your face / All I need is your touch / Wake me up with your lips / Look down at me from up above / Yeah- yeah / I need you I remember the way that you moved / Your dancing easily through my dreams / It’s hitting me harder and harder / with all your smiles / You are crazy gentle in the way you kiss And all I see is your face / All I need is your touch / Wake me up with your lips / Come at me from up above OO- baby I need you to see me the way I see you / Love me wide awake in the middle of my dreams And all I see is your face / All I need is your touch / Wake me up with your lips / Come at me from up above And all I see is your face / All I need is your touch Come at me from up above Magic – Colbie Caillat

I was walking around Omotesando and Harajuku to kill some time before meeting a friend the other night and found this patch of cosmos flowers. Planted out in the street, behind them were the lights of a shop and a vending machine was providing some light from my side. Just beautiful. Got mesmerised for a good fifteen minutes by these flowers. Nikon D300 / 85mm f/1.4 AF D

Yaaaaaay the last one in the petals + make-up series. Blue/green. I think this has come to be one of my favorites out of them all, I’ve just been getting better and better at them. This one is much like Organic Petals, an intense close-up which is what I was going for. Enjoy!! And thank you for the support and favorites!

My mom, Charmian, is the most AMAZING person – warm, talented, compassionate, energetic, accomplished, enthusiastic, sympathetic, witty, intelligent and loving. She can sail a yacht and play the drums. She cycles in bike races, and thinks nothing of cycling 80km just for fun. She can do woodwork, paint pictures and so many other things that I can’t list them all. And she can garden – her garden is extraordinary, full of lavish beauty and breathtakingly delightful. If I was any good at landscape photography I would have shown you just how good she is, but seeing as I’m not, I thought I would show you just one of the hundreds of stunning roses she grows. Taken after a morning of rain at her house in Magoebaskloof, South Africa. Camera Model Canon EOS 500D / Shooting Date/Time 2009/10/31 11:17:32 AM / Shooting Mode Manual Exposure / Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/125 / Av( Aperture Value ) 6.3 / ISO Speed 100 / Lens EF100mm f/2.8 Macro USM / Focal Length 100.0 mm
Another of my mom’s marvellous roses – her whole garden was just so beautiful after the rain that I couldn’t stop taking photographs, everything was so magically enhanced by the strings and strings of water drop beads. Camera Model Canon EOS 500D / Shooting Date/Time 2009/10/31 11:16:21 AM / Shooting Mode Manual Exposure / Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/125 / Av( Aperture Value ) 6.3 / ISO Speed 100 / Auto ISO Speed OFF / Lens EF100mm f/2.8 Macro USM / Focal Length 100.0 mm Processed using photoshop CS2 and Topaz DeNoise
