While I was in Korea I visited the Cheongycheon River which actually used to be a motorway. Somebody’s pet rabbit had escaped and ran down the banks and it was such a surreal sight that I had to have a photo!

These 4 little rabbit kittens are newborns. As the weather was very hot mum has spread them out so they don’t overheat. The mum rabbits are very clever with their babies. In winter she pushes them all up close to keep them warm. It is not the best quality photo but I had to show you anyway :o)

This is an angora bunny, but his owners never brushed him or clipped his nails. They eventually got new pets and gave him up to my rescue like they often did. sigh… I was just glad they would give the neglected animals to me when they got bored with them. His hair was so matted that I couldn’t even use shaver on him. The mats of hair were pulling the skin together in strange but very tight ways. His toenails were grown out about 3 inches too. The poor baby had deformed toes from that. It took weeks to get them cut back enough for him to play. And when he played, I could get nothing but blur pictures. He LOVED to hop and discover things. See what a sweet bunny he is underneath all the dirt and mats. I always left that tuft of hair on him because the little girl always loved it. It was not her fault her parents neglected and rotated pets like they did.

She was one proud mother with her first child. Champion Lissette, a darling blue point mini cashmere lop (fuzzy), and her baby blue point… lissette junior, of course.

Only used 4H and 6B on this one, did it A3 and found it was a nightmare to scan due to only having an A4 scanner haha, also never sketched a rabbit before and found using the same approach as cat fur useful :)
