This is our new pup Phoebe Roo ( she’s like a kangaroo) she’s an Italian greyhound, only 13 weeks now. I have a pic of my other dog Millie on here so to be fair I took one of phoebe too.She has this one ear that is always sticking up. She is so fast now we cant even catch her, she sure is stirring up the house, we just love her to pieces !!
Sorry to all those who don’t like “pets and babies” photos… ;) This is my kitty trying to catch a fly on the window last night… The sun was coming down into our living room which gave that nice glow on one side of his face. I was originally going to make it all black & white but I just couldn’t bring myself to leave his gorgeous blue eye out! Update 22/03/2009: / Thanks to all your comments this photo is now on page #1 of the “most popular pictures of all times”! Please leave a comment and/or favourite it to help me keep it up there !! / Thank you all again for your support! :))

He was licking his paw and I wanted to get a picture of it but the timing was so that I got three pictures of him like this and caught none with his tongue out. I ended up liking this one because he looks like he is pondering.
This was my second attempt at color pencil. She was a commission for graphite, but I knew she would be so much better in color and that the client would really prefer color. So I jumped in and tried it, and this was the result. Think I’ll do more… 8X10 Color Pencil
OK pirate fans, here’s a lassie to shiver your timbers. She’s ditched the parrot in favour of a raven, she’s kept the traditional tattoo and she’s donned a tight little dress that’s sure to keep her crew on their toes. ..................♥ the fine print ♥…............... This is a portrait of my husky cross Marushka (‘Little Mary’ in Czech…) in her element. She’s never happier than when its snowing like a mad thing, and i can’t blame her- she was built for winter! She’s a lot of fun; a real character, and very photogenic. She certainly shows us the lighter side of winter and the cold Canadian holiday season!
A portrait of my very old & most wonderful feline Tia… I found her homeless just barely surviving life along the Ct. River when she was just a young lady, exact age unkown… Her now gorgeous long thick orange-white fur all matted up & knotted.. Her emerald green eyes looking so scared yet full of hope… I coaxed her into my arms & I took her home with me. Oh no I thought… Another responsiblitie in my life is about to accour.. Perhaps I will find her a home I thought.. I cut off her snarled hair to grow again… Picked off the ticks attached to her tiny boney body & bathed her… She consumed lots of food & drink and in less than a day I decided to keep her home with me… She is dble paw-ed in the front with a crackleing high pitched voice & a cry that of a babies. She is extremely feminine and gentle.. She walks like a runway model, one paw placed intently in front of the other and a sultry wiggle to boot… She is a “Cover feature “kind of calendar cat… She is special also because is she is gentle & loving back at me along to other people & other animals of all species… She is special too because she made my quality of life better starting the day she roamed out from the woods along the river & into my life. Did I mention she has the looks of a top leading calender cat? She’s a 10 & is just simply special across the board… :) Thanks for cking her out here..

This image for me is an image of the Jesus of all street dogs. Icon, like it or not. Gringa is one of those abandoned street dogs we are trying to find a family for. She´s now living in a dog´s shelter. It´s heartbreaking to see all the street animals here in Lima. It´s a time for a new religion. It´s time for a better world. Do not buy! Adopt friends!
