FULL VIEW PLEASE** This shot of Cottesloe Beach in Western Australia was from early this morning at Sunrise. It is another favourite place of mine in WA and I wanted to catch get an image of it at sunrise . I took several attempts trying to find a good angle and right exposure to capture the indain tea house (building on the left) and the ocean . In the end this was my favourite out of the lot , I really liked the movment in the water , gave the photo a really nice feel . It was a pitty there was so much foot prints in the sand as i got to the beach at 04:30am and there were a few people down the beach already . This was 3 shots stitched in Photoshop to make this panorama . / I found this one difficult becuase the light changed a lot from each shot eventhought i was shooting in manual mode .

John and I decided to be one of the first people to photograph the brand new sexy toy the Perth Wheel as of operation 9th Jan 2009. Sort of copied, ok copied from the hugely successful London Eye, the Perth Wheel it stands 50m high, can carry 284 passengers in 36 capsules. For $15 adults $10 children, you get to spend roughly 15 minutes on the wheel, which will do approximately three revolutions. There is even a VIP capsule which boasts leather seats, best to get clients stuck with you high in the sky to approve your business proposal in comfy leather seats and a plasma screen display. Operators are also expecting it to become popular for marriage proposals and birthday celebrations…oh and those girlfriend boyfriend stuff. This series of Mammatus clouds where taken on December 27 2004 just as a really big summer thunderstorm had formed over my house. From what I read, the Mammatus clouds are caused by ice in the clouds becoming heavy and causing the cloud to sag. A very rare site! EOS 20D. This is a beautiful image of my new grandson with his dad. It is such a beautiful look in the eyes of an overwhelmed father. Baby Johnny was one week old in this shot. i took this photo for a photo competition over here in Perth. Just to be different I decided to do it in selective colouring. Taken with my Canon 40DSLR using a 27-85 mm lens and using a lighting umbrella and spotlight. I have given it the selective treatment in photoshop. I made a duplicate layer, then converted the layer to b&W. I then used the eraser to rub out what I wanted to be coloured, this allowed the original colour to come through, then merged the layers together. / Thanks for visiting
