Print of my original painting
Perth City, at night, from Kings Park.
This is the third photo I shot early yesterday morning . / I was happy I was able to fit in all three stops yesterday for photos at sunrise . I can now tick off three of images of Western Australia I wanted to capture off my list :D. Its of the Old Swan Brewery and the Swan River in Western Australia at Sunrise . For those who don’t know you can see the City of Perth in the background behind the Swan Brewery building and directly across the river is South Perth . The Swan Brewery building is ment to be haunted by an Aboriginal spirit , The resturant there is great and is worth a stop for any one who loves a great steak and a beer bit on the pricy side but. This shot was around 6am . It is 5 photos stitched together in Photoshop . Saturation and curves editing done , I really wanted to bring out the amazing sunrise

Featured 7th Nov, 09 in Kings Park Perth Taken from King’s Park overlooking South Perth
Taken at Lake Monger Perth Western Australia. A favorite place to view these majestic birds. This one was in the shadow of a large tree on the bank but just loved the way the light caught and highlighted the red colour of the face….
The pride of this mother just shows by the way she is looking over her young. These little ones are only about a week old, and they look so at peace and secure… The amount of joy this little family gave to people walking, jogging by, and just in the short time that I stood by and watched on…

Como Jetty in Perth Western Australia. EOS 500D.
This visit to the Crawley Edge Boatshed was a total opposite to my last visit a few days earlier, When the waterline was above the jetty leading to the boatshed due to a storm surge which resulted in a unusually high tide, Which is the opposite to the unusually low tides we have had over the last few days. I decided to walk into the river to get a unusual perspective of the boatshed since I thought the water wasn’t to deep, But in the end, I found myself knee deep in the water shooting the boatshed, And once again, Going home soaking wet. LOL The boatshed was built in the 1930’s and you can also see the original pylon from the original pier that was replaced with the current pier when the boatshed was restored by it’s current owner in the early 2000’s after being in a dilapidated and run down state for many years. EOS 500D. Featured in: WA Red Bubbles Mk II.
Sculptures commemorating the 300th anniversary of Willem De Vlamingh’s exploration and naming of the Swan River in January 1697. The sculptures pay tribute to the significant part played by the early Dutch navigators in the discovery of the Western Coastline of Australia. EOS 500D.

The Narrows bridge carries the freeway from some 35 kms north of the city of Perth to some 75 kms south. In recent years a duplicate bridge was built with a view to speeding up the traffic flow and accommodating the ever increasing number of vehicles who now use it on a daily basis. / This view, taken during Spring, was captured from the South African garden in our magnificent Kings Park and is just one of the many delightful scenes that unfold in front of you as you stroll around. / Camera Sony Alpha 350 dslr / 18-70 lens with nd filter / f8 @ 1.125 second / hand held
The city of Perth image was taken from South Perth across the Swan River on the 22nd of April 2008.
