And as the sun shall set, in the dark of the night. / Just like the soul, with angst and fright / But once again you showed me light, / hearing your prayers as they are sent into heavens flight. Religion gives a person faith. Faith keeps a person alive. Keeping alive is survival. and survival is salvation. - – - / Rain rain go away come again another day. It was a perfect setting for a mood piece. It just so happened that guy sat over the edge there. What luck. Shot at The Gap, Albany. Western Australia. MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /

  • Overcast Perth
    by Keegan Wong

    US$3.99–US$91.20

As we patiently awaited for the highly anticipated Australia Day 2007 fireworks, we were greeted by a rather unpleasant overcast and patchy sky, many thanks to the soaring 40C heat. Great sweat workout though. MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /

  • Moody Waters
    by Brett Earl

    US$6.65–US$152.00

One of Perth’s most photographed waterscape. The best photographs tend to be those unplanned moments that don’t come along all to often, when mother nature and timing cross paths. As Ansell Adam said: ””A good photograph is knowing where to stand”” but I think it is also knowing…when. I think I was extremely luck to catch this moment, as I have seen hundreds of photos of this place, but I think I have captured the amazing symmetry that the nature hides most of the time.

  • Home Sweet Home
    by Keegan Wong

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Home Sweet Home. The Blue Boathouse, Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Western Australia. I’ve finally dragged my lazy feet to the Blue Boathouse down at Mounts Bay Road, Perth. Despite being a 20 minute drive by the freeway, I never seem to allocate the right time to visit this magnificient icon. It’s possibly one of the most photographed building in Western Australia, and I cannot object it anyway if it was. edits: Realigned, adjusted contrast/brightness. • Perth City
    by Michael Bates

    US$3.99–US$91.20

A winter`s evening on the Swan river with the reflections of the City of Perth. I had to wait awhile to shoot this image as some months before there had been a gas explosion up north and WA was on limited gas supplies and consequently all the city`s lights were getting turned off, however I think it worked in my favour, as the cooler winter weather enhanced the blues of the image.

  • Cirque Du Soleil
    by Keegan Wong

    US$3.99–US$91.20

I was wandering in the trains when I glanced back and saw the beautiful tents of the Cirque du Soleil back in 2008. I’d like to imagine how this would look from an aerial view… Enjoy. • *Serenity*
    by Kenbartle

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Sometimes a scene is so tranquil and serene, and the light is so soft, that you feel like wrapping your arms right around it. / I photographed an old timber bridge in the country with autumn leaves and fog, years back in the days of colour slides, and this is the closest that I have come to experiencing that same feeling. And that’s good, considering that in Perth and Fremantle fog is almost as rare as snow (i.e. none) / As the sun tipped the horizon, behind the camera, it passed behind a wispy cloud and anything that was not white, like the white on the boats and one building, glowed orange. I trust I have done the scene justice. Konica Minolta A200, on a sturdy tripod, of course. Post processing – Aperture – HDR rendered for the greatest realism I could obtain.

As the City of Perth beats like a racing heart at night, Dullsville is considered no more. Well, that’s the plan anyway. Hope you enjoy this shot. Been wanted to post something like this for a long long time. So here it is =) / / Shot using a Canon 350D, 18-55mm kit lens, cheap tripod, 4 seconds exposure @ f/5.6 with an ISO speed of 200.
