    by martin steinbrugger

How is it, that one person is rigid and hard, while another person is tender and soft…

It really is a matter of choice.

  • The ABC's of Me
    by KNGodin

A fun little exercise that’s roaming around RedBubble writings…

Original credit for this idea (as I know it) goes to msdebbie ...then Rubyjo ... and AFogArty… Many more have joined msdebbie’s lightheartedly introspective movement… wish we could link them all up more effectively! Anyway, this is my take on it as it applies to me…

  • I am an Individual, I am a Person, I am Eric
    by happyfeet5

Thank you for accepting me for who I am, / for letting me be me, / because of that I am who I am, / I am Eric, an individual, a person, / a b…

This poem I wrote to my son’s English Club teacher on his behalf when he was ten. Eric had a learning dissability and has dysgrafia, (it’s like dyslexia, but instead of a reading problem, it has to do with writing. So even if he could come out with great stories and poems in head, his brain couldn’t make his hand to execute the writing correctly). This special English teacher was one of the few that inspired him to keep on no matter what. So he proudly presented this poem to her.

This is a short story & potential childrens’ book or at least a potential beginning to an extremely interesting book for children. I can only imagine once wonderful illustrations were added by just the right artist/artists that this may be a really big seller. The strengths of this story are as follows: spirited, creative, daring, dynamic, dreams, energy, interesting, lively, unusual, Santa topic, exotic, different & fun!

  • Personal Computer
    by Matt Penfold

Defrag between my ears to shed some light / Clean up the disk I like to call my brain

I was thinking about how much of who we are is a reflection of the good the bad and the ugly, and how hollow it would feel if we removed all the less than perfect bits. (not really, I was just being silly again)

  • Think Outside the Box
    by Kristin Reynolds

I am trapped within four white walls…....T / Constraints of constricting concrete….

This poem is about finding the STRENGTH one needs to let go of the rest of the world’s ideals; about finding your circle and riding it all the way to personal freedom. Fuck those squares – if you don’t fit – you don’t fit! and that’s a GOOD thing! this is a poem of will, freedom and the power to e x p a n d.
