This watercolour piece represents my state of personal reflection. We are constantly tied up with millions of thoughts, emotions, responsibilities and choices. We have a jug which contains water… and when empty we should go back to The Well to be nourished again and to nourish others. But how often do we go back to The Well… which holds so much treasure and hope. And how many times do we wither away too far to realise this. Here is part of me for you.

Paradise land…better viewed larger. Candid capture of 2 lazy lizard roasting in the sun of Las Galeras on the hotel complex part of the beach . This is located in Las Galeras on the Samana Peninsula on the Atlantic side of the Dominican Republic this Island is situated in the Western Caribbeans . The beach is named Las Galeras after the small fisherman village 15 minutes from the hotel “Grand Paradise Samana”, part of this beach, at least half of it, is still in a natural untouched state, the rest is part of the hotel complex and they have made every effort to keep the beach as close to possible to its natural existence to keep the sand and coconut trees from erosion, the complex is build on the ground of an old coconut plantation, that way we can still see and hear the wildlife everywhere on the complex that is also surrounded with thick mountain forest and mangroves. / I went there on a marvelous vacation for 2 weeks starting at the end of the month of January 2009 and I cant wait to go back to paradise land… The Samana Peninsula has more than 9 millions of coconut trees some in small family owned plantations it permits families to have a reasonable good living, they also make hand made art and hand made soap and other artisan products. Some bigger outside companies also buy most of the coconut production, the bigger $$$ are brought in by the selling and export of coconut milk and oil, they are used in different beauty products, shampoo, cream, solar protection, in food, etc. This is a pristine location where nature is still in a natural state, I took more than 300 pictures and this is only a small sample , 20 photos or so, I really enjoyed taking them as the natural settings in the region is beautiful, I hope you have as much pleasure in viewing my photos… than I had capturing them! As is with my photosmart HP R927 camera
