Another stone. Another wall… / Another pill. They said I’d be ok. / They said I’d see again..hear again..feel again. / I wanted to believe.. / Another day. Loneliness. Erase the year.. / Again..I’m here. They told me to be a wall. / Told me to be lonely. I didn’t believe them. / So instead, I loved. Now.. / I am free..
Chinchero, Perú ! After chatting a bit with a few women in Chinchero and having a good laugh,.. I asked if I could take some pictures of them.. they were all very keen and looked relaxed and confident..!!! This is the one I probably like more !!!

Yes i know a little emotional of me but i had a really odd day, I was looking forward to going to work (I know but i work in thorntons!) and was going to try all the new ice creams, but in the shower, the shower fell off and so did everything else all landing on my ankle which is now very bruised and sore to walk on so i couldn’t work! Argh, things like this always happen to me, as Charlie put it, im the unluckiest girl he’s ever met.
Man & man made environment.

The concept of capturing a personality
An essay I wrote for TAFE about portraiture, stereotypes and physiognomies.
Barack Obama is 2008’s “Person of the Year” as declared by TIME Magazine. I think it’s amazing that we were all able to witness history in the making with him winning the 2008 Election. I decided to do a series of Obama portraits in recognition of his achievements.
The third in the photo shoot with Jenni, I choose to post this one because it reflects the day to day Jenni more so than the other two in this series. / Taken with my Canon 450D, Lightly edited using Lightroom 2. Jenni / Untitled /
More experiments with lighting and photoshop effects in this self-portrait. I kept my favoured effect, gaussian blur to a minimum here as I wanted to achieve more detailed finish. Photography and post production by Jennifer Woodward © 2009
This is me and my best friend Sam merged together as one, as we convince ourselves we are one person really :) Were a superhuman together.
This is also part of the Renewal series, it is the first part with the person trapped in all their negativty before the water cleanses them. / This series was inspired by the song “New Soul” by Yael Naim. These pictures were quite a challenge as the model struggled to move and stay afloat with all the heavy material wrapped around her yet at the same time would float to the top with the air in her lungs. Featured in Inspired Art
This photo is actually a mistake and a trial of the pics used in my Renewal project! LOL… it is actually my favourite and came out the best! The concept remains that this is surfacing after the cleansing process of Baptism Featured In 1620 / In the Top Ten for Submerged – The Woman Photographer / Featured on the Homepage!!!! :) /
Exploring the world of portraiture once again…
Walking back to camp, I came across this lady. She had all sorts in her bundle. Old shoes, sticks, a pick axe and other bits and bobs. Rundu, Namibia. Febuary 2007.
They wanted to pose like the cover of “Bride Wars,” but after a couple shots they ran off to play. LOL! So, I thought that was a cute idea but will try again later. This was shot with my new Nikon D5000 (which I LOVE!!!) and I desaturated everything except the flowers in Microsoft Digital Image Pro and digital painted to accentuate the hair, shirts, and face.
This is a picture of Paulette x. Milan :)
THIS IMAGE WAS FEATURED IN “LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS” GROUP IN JULY. THIS IMAGE WAS FEATURED IN THE “GOLD COAST” GROUP IN JULY. f/5.6 1/30 / ISO 800 This portrait was taken indoors with studio lights at my photography club practical night. I wanted to get a different angle for this shot, and I was fairly pleased with the result, as well as the natural and genuine smile. I didn’t like the background used behind the model and I’m much happier with the black background instead. © Lauri7 2009.
