The day is cold, windy and wet. Victorian Railways locomotive K160 has rolled in to Castlemaine station, in central Victoria. The sky is turning black with a storm brewing. The Guard of the train approaches the driver to discuss the next movements of the day. These two characters themselves bring an element of the relaxed way of life on the railways, while always keeping to time – the trusty old wrist watch on the drivers arm. Soon the train shall depart to its destination, Maldon. Jonathan can be contacted at: sales@vistavisionphotography.com Please email to inquire about ordering prints larger than 30inches

One of the wonderful things about New York City is that if you are walking down a street and it starts to rain, out of nowhere will appear numerous street vendors, saying “Umbrellas four dollars”. They also sell large, doorman-sized umbrellas for eight dollars. Look for them at the subway entrances, and on most street corners. Incredibly convenient!
