Sorry to all those who don’t like “pets and babies” photos… ;) This is my kitty trying to catch a fly on the window last night… The sun was coming down into our living room which gave that nice glow on one side of his face. I was originally going to make it all black & white but I just couldn’t bring myself to leave his gorgeous blue eye out! Update 22/03/2009: / Thanks to all your comments this photo is now on page #1 of the “most popular pictures of all times”! Please leave a comment and/or favourite it to help me keep it up there !! / Thank you all again for your support! :))
Ink drawing on cartridge paper, of Chang, half Abyssinian and half Siamese, and Chinky, half Siamese and half Persian. / / Chinky and Chang feature in my 2009 Cats calendar.

Tarot Series Finally I’ve made a start on my Tarot Project / I would like to do the full deck but will be starting with / the Major Arcana (this will probably take me some years / to complete, but you have got to start somewhere) I am deciding whether to do an all female tarot, whether this would work for divination purposes. As we all have male and female energies, I’m hoping to tap into this concept. / On completion, I will decide whether to add colour to the deck, again an important feature in representing energies and elements. I also need to think of a name for the Deck. / (Any feedback on these 3 ideas is most welcomed) Each piece will be an artwork in its own right (with its art and tarot title). When the deck is complete, I will add borderings to make them into the cards. My Inspirations will be Beauty, Nature, Modern Subculture meets Ancient Culture, My Dreams and Visions, The Devine Feminine / Hope you enjoy xx The Empress represents Motherhood and fertility, represented by the roses on her skirt and the soft invite of her petticoats. The crescent moon of her belt buckle represents, the waxing and waning of the moon and its links to fertility (the cycle of life). The cats are the children in this piece, in need of love, care and attention, but ultimately their own spirits and independant beings. The Empress has physical and spirtitual security, you can tell by her confident gaze she is mature and knowing. Loving and generous, she wears her heart on her sleeve and has one foot firmly in earthy matters and her spirit flying with Angels I want to thank my good friend Paul for picking up on the Crescent Moon Belt Buckle, something I was unaware of, that emerged from the subconscious and makes so much sense in the piece. / Paul’s Gallery-Gottheshot / Thank YOU xx Pen and Ink on Cartridge Paper
This is the second of two shots that I humbly submit as my “Meeko series”. / These shots were taken with my Kodak Easyshare ZD710 digital camera and are totally “AS IS”. / I have not even made any adjustments for lighting. Meeko is my parents Presian/Himmy mix, whom they adopted several years ago. Meeko is a very large boy and weighs between 21 and 22 pounds as of his check-up this year. / He isn’t a young man anymore either; having reached the wonderfully healthy age of 11 years. Among the Leaves here: /
Mitty & Mandy were my neighbous cats. This was done in celebration of the fifteen years they spent with Shirley & Errol. / /
Shaded Silver Persian, shot using flash and softbox.
Bagoas (after Aubrey Beardsley) Photoshop T-shirt here / / / Sold one mounted print to a redbubble member.
I tried to print this on canvas but the colour was messed up so I went over it with pastels. It turned out quite different to the original.
I thought this would make an attractive Christmas card for a cat lover. / A beautiful Maine Coon waiting to be kissed under the miseltoe. Acrylic on canvas

This persian leopard was on the prowl – I didn’t care to get in its way.

Serapis Bey was incarnated as a high priest in one of the “Temples of the Sacred Fire” on Atlantis who migrated to Egypt at the time of the destruction. It is also believed that he was incarnated as the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep III (who constructed the Temple of Luxor to the god Amon) and also as Leonidas, the King of Sparta who was killed in 480 BC defending the pass of Thermopylae against the invasion of Greece by Xerxes I, Emperor of the Persian Empire. A commissioned painting. 18th January 2008
Featured in the group Moms 4 Art – June 09 – thank you so much! The plan was to shoot some fun shots of Perrin (13) in the socks, but while we were busy, Hudson (4) decided he needed to join in the fun. When he plonked himself down in the middle of the shot, I saw an opportunity I couldn’t resist. ( : Canon 400D, pp in photoshop cs2

Something from the springtime to make me happy… These were little Persian violets that I love, but I couldn’t keep them alive for very long. Enjoy!
Ok one last shot. This is Angel in her favorite spot on the couch and I woke her up so she kinda has a look as if to say,”alright enough is enough”. She went right back to sleep shortly after this.
A white Persian cat in a burgundy red sweater sitting in a window looking out on the street. He refuses to look my way even though I’m acting like a monkey to get his attention! After feeling like a fool, I give up. Never did get him to look my way. Little rascal! Click once on image to enlarge. / / / /
The Bull appears from Northern Europe to India as an emblem of divine power. As the incarnation of many supreme gods the most important sacrificial animal. In rituals and iconography, it has represented both the moon and sun, earth and sky, rain and heat, feminine procreation and male ardour, matriarch and patriarch, death and regeneration. As a symbol of death and resurrection, it was central to Mithraism, a Persian Cult popular in the Roman Empire. Mithraic sacrifices celebrated the sun- god Mithras’s slaughter of a primordial bull, from whose blood the semen sprang new life. Acrylics, pigment and ink
