  • I was out in the rain and a bush of these pretty deep veined geraniums caught my eye.

  • I take a lot of macro shots of bugs and flowers, it got me to thinking what it must be like from their POV. When I saw a large cluster of this ornamental grass (called Hare’s Tail/Bunny Tail (Lagurus ovatus)) on the beach I got down on my belly in the sand and took this shot. /

  • Enallagma cyathigerum-Common Blue Damselflies taken at The Millpond, West Ashling, West Sussex, England My daughter spotted these when we went to feed the birds. She called me over and said Look Mum they have made a heart shape. /

  • What can I say…...... I love this. / Photo by me and the poem by the talented Helen Sewell .She sent me her poem and i had to agree it would go well with this image .Hope you all enjoy it! Our love is like the beauty of morning dew on a budding rose / Beauty like a serene pair of swans, graceful and elegant in its pose / Swans crystallised forever, together in love, protected far from harm / Like a serenade under the moonlight in your loving arms / A love to share a lifetime; to remember an eternity / As I write this poem for you my love, with all sincerity / Remember this, even on your dullest of days / That I love you, always

  • Today was a beautiful day, the sun came out at last, the rain stopped, that was enough for me, grabbed my camera and headed straight for Langstone Habour. The tide was out the sun was shining and it wasn’t too cold. There were 2 swans in the little pool of water by the redundant windmill. All I have done to this image is a simple sharp and change to b&w and that is it. /

  • I couldn’t resist these two as they bathed in the pond. Taken at Langstone Habour on Saturday 12-1-08.

  • Taken at Langstone Harbour, Hayling Island, Hampshire

  • As I left home this morning to go and wish my Mum a Happy Mothers Day i glanced around my garden and these beautiful crocuses caught my eye as the sun lit up the petals and their happy faces opened and soaked up the brief warm sunshine….....

  • Abby in pencil

  • This is the original of The Swan (In b&w) that I uploaded a while ago. Taken with a Canon Powershot A710

  • Catherington is where I have been going lately to take photos at the Pond and more recent in the cemetry. There were lots of wild rabbits there today, I managed to get up close and lay on the grass to take some shots. *Have you seen this other cutie too

  • Taken at Catherington, another cute wild rabbit. Taken with a Canon Powershot SX5 IS How about this other cutie too

  • Taken at Catherington cemetry. Crocosmias produce dense clumps of upright iris-like foliage. In midsummer this makes a good background for the small, profuse flowers. ‘Lucifer’ is an aptly-named variety because its flowers are the hottest coloured of all – a searing paprika red. The individual blooms are not as big as other crocosmias’, but small-flowered varieties such as this are the hardiest which makes them a wise choice in cold districts. Grown in a flower border, they provide structure and colour.

  • Yesterday afternoon I had a few hours to myself so I grabbed my camera and headed for Stansted House Gardens where I spent a few hours happily wandering and snapping the late summer flowers which were swarming with bee and butterflies. / I know how much Jesika loves the Comma, so again I dedicate this to her.

  • I awoke on Saturday 10-01-09 at 7-00am to discover the temp had dropped to -10c and everywhere was white with thick frost. I grabbed my camera and dashed to my car which was also covered in thick frost. I scrapped it clear and then sat in the car clutching my fingers they were soooooo cold it hurt. When they finally thawed out I drove into the country and took some photos. This first one shows the trees covered in frost looking so pretty.

  • I took this last week at Havant Thicket, we had our first real amount of snow in 18 years. This would make a great card, you can even had the wording of your choice. Taken with a Canon Powershot SX10 IS Card 1 / / / or maybe / / Card 02 / these are just a couple of examples
