Warrior of the Light / “A warrior of the light does not spend his days trying to play the role that others have chosen for him. A warrior of the light does not waste his time listening to provocations; he has a destiny to fulfil. A warrior of the light knows his own faults, but he also knows his own qualities. A warrior of the light always does his best and expects the best of others. A warrior knows that the farthest-flung star in the Universe reveals itself in the things around him. It is even more difficult to define a path for yourself. The person who doesn’t make a choice dies in the eyes of the Lord, even though he continues to breath and to walk about the streets. For a man has to choose therein lies his strenght in the power of his decisions. When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream. When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It’s just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.” / Paulo Coelho

Parc des Chutes Dorwin (Rawdon, Quebec / Canada) ©2007 / - / SonyA100 / Shutter Speed: 5/10 second / F Number: F/36.0 / Focal Length: 70 mm / ISO Speed: 100 / tripod / early in the morning, first light a place I always enjoy going as if it was the first time… I promised myself to do a long exposure of those waterfalls as soon as I’d get my tripod. / Even though I didn’t used it a lot since then (2007) because I ‘need’ to touch and feel the camera to fully being part of the moment … I’ve been pleased with the picture that couldn’t been done without it ;-) / . / 602 views - /

Taken on a lovely Mornington Peninsula ocean beach. / The rocks in the foreground are really VERY large. To give you an idea of the scale,...if you click the “large view” you can see human foot prints in the sand near the waters edge.
Sixth in my “Perpetual Motion” Numberism series. Somewhere she has a list of things to do filled with words like “bill”, “late” and “memo”, but for now she doesn’t care. She knows this feeling. It has something to do with freedom. The sun is warm on her face. She gets back to business, trying to make a bigger bubble. These drawings are drawn entirely with the numbers 1 -12, marking the hours of the clock. Reference Photo

A colorized version of “Addy” from my “Perpetual Motion” series. This uses Numberism, wherein I draw the entire piece with only the numbers 1 -12, marking the hours of the clock. This series focuses on time and taking advantage of the present, as it’s the only chance we’ll have to experience it for all it is. The original is pencil on Vellum paper. I thought the colors might be a little more fitting for this holiday season.
Artist Trading Card done in Numberism. / Drawn with a brown 005 point pen on Illustration board. I think someone who is having this effect of music must be composing it to have that much magic in it.
3.5×2.5” Numberism trading card. Black 005 micron pen on Illustration board. Drawn with only the numbers of the clock.
