This is a raw shot from an extremely impromptu shoot today with my beautiful model Jessica Tremp / I refuse to edit or manipulate for ethical reasons- I love it for example :) This also happens to be my favourite of all my work, by a long shot. In the Moment /// Overall Visual Art Winner / I found myself in Geneva for a week for work last year. The only other time I had been to Switzerland was Zurich for 2 nights in the middle of winter, so I was kind of surprised by the beautiful (and hot!) summer weather I experienced on this visit. / The Lake at Geneva is where everyone goes to cool off and I was mesmerised watching all these crazy dudes doing amazing things off a high-dive on the edge of the lake. I took a few shots and managed to capture this moment among them. / I entered this work into the 2007 Linden Gallery Post Card Show in St.Kilda, and was absolutely stoked to have been awarded one of the six entries to be reproduced as postcards and sold through the gallery.

This picture was taken in manchester at night (1st March 2008), on piccadilly Gardens, on an obviously rainy day. BUT I would like to mention that manchester is not getting rained on as much as people think….(Yes I know, I’m not helping the North West’s reputation much with this picture) See the square crop of this photo.

My daughter allowed me six photographs before she became embarrassed and stopped the shoot. I attached camera to my bike helmet and pre-set the camera to fire on delay release. A bit hit and miss but managed this lovely picture. No wonder she was embarrassed!

Ever get the feeling that everyone’s staring at you when you get on that bus to work every morning? Well, I did (before I shed the shackles of the day job and became a freelancer at least!) and that’s what inspired this painting – commuters on the top deck, always curious to see who’s entering their domain.

A street photo taken at Changi Airport, Singapore. Using the natural light as backlighting, these people were quickly snapped in silhouetted as they were walking away. I’m surprised how similar these people are. They echoed each other in terms of being in a pair. Also, the pairs in the foreground are single dad with their only child. All this captured at the time 16:57.
