The last remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, South Australia. Port Willunga Beach was recently named as the only Australian location in ‘Travel and Leisure’ magazine – hip travel list of emerging destinations. This is still one of my favourite locations to photograph and is only a 40 minute drive south of Adelaide. Pentax *ist DS – DSLR. Also available:

/ Isn’t another bad day (yet again) on the stock markets the perfect time to show you my latest still life in the “nostalgia” series, entitled: the stock market. / As usual, old and new elements are mingled together. The painted with light technique was used again, as well as digital manipulation to get the end result I was after. / It’s strange, I spent months planning this shot, preparing and getting the props and then in a few hours time it’s shot. It’s almost an anti-climax. / Well, I hope you enjoy it! / By the way, this is the fourth installment in this series, I’m withholding the second one which I consider my masterpiece in this series. The Iguazu waterfalls. One of those overwhelming places. The roar of these giant waterfalls is deafening, there beauty blinding. This shot of “La Garganta del Diablo” was a battle against the spray, but it was worth it. This was taken from the Brazilian side, the far side, a little obscured by the mist, is Argentina. Wallpaper can be found here This image has been featured by ‘The World’. / Sold as an extra large canvas print to a mystery buyer.

/ I wouldn’t like to feed the photographers for which this photo is the plain and simple truth. Another instalment in my Nostalgia series although a little different then usual in the set-up. It’s a lot simpler a composition then most of my work, but let me assure you, it was so much harder to get right! Shot with my relatively new Pentax K10D and a very old Pentax-A 1:1.7 50mm objective. You can read all about the technique used in this tutorial more work / the calendar / preview / “Forgotten” was sold as a Medium mounted print to an anonymous buyer. Thank you! “Forgotten” is also freely downloadable as a wallpaper to decorate your desktop.

Trelissick Turret / is at the entrance to Trellisick House and Gardens which is a National Trust Property. Unfortunately the house is not open to the public, but well worth a visit. And situated between Falmouth and Truro, Cornwall UK. / Edited from RAW in Dynamic Photo HDR FREE DOWNLOAD 1 shot X 3 then into CS3 where i converted it to B&W and added a B&W sky texture to give it a spooky feel.
