  • hmmm…

  • The Wiccan symbol. A witch finds strong symbolism in its 5 points, which represent the elements (spirit, earth, wind, fire, water). It also means protection. One should be warned, however. This design is very bold and very large. Only wear this if you are comfortable explaining it to people.

  • Music is one of the best ways to communicate around the world. It is not a language that we need to learn. Everybody has a special song that brings back good, happy, sad or romantic moments The image in the T-shirt is also available as card

  • 0/50 Signed pieces sold. Once 50 signed pieces of any artwork are sold, it’s sale is discontinued! / Discounts for bubblers – bubblemail me for details! / namaste

  • All proceeds from the sale of this shirt go to The First Church of Polytheistic Monodeism, founded by my husband, Reverend Damien Freeze. He has given me permission to market his original design to benefit his church. The philosophy of the church is that all gods are individualistic interpretations of the Universal Deity. / The central symbol in the design is representative of unity. The five points of the pentagram and the five colored rings intertwined with it represent the five ancient elements; Earth (green), Air (yellow), Fire (red), Water (blue), and Spirit (white). The pentagram contains every shade of the visible spectrum, signifying the all-inclusiveness of the Church. Surrounding the center, in no particular order, are the iconic symbols of several world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Wicca, and more. The symbols are arranged in a circle to signify that no one of them has any priority over the other ones, that all are equal. The slogan “We are all children of the same Universe” is meant to convey the central message of the design. / Celebrate your open-mindedness with this unique conversation-starter!

  • The pentagram… To the Wiccan, the five points of the pentagram represent Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Spirit. Wiccans usually put the symbol in a circle, which has traditionally represented the endless or eternity. The ancient Chinese believed there were five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water), five planets, five seasons, five senses, as well as five basic colors, sounds and tastes. / -source Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece and Babylonia. / The pentagram has magical associations, and many people who practice Neopagan faiths wear jewelry incorporating the symbol. / Christians once more commonly used the pentagram to represent the five wounds of Jesus, and it also has associations within Freemasonry. The pentagram has long been associated with the planet Venus, and the worship of the goddess Venus, or her equivalent. It is also associated with the Roman word lucifer, which was a term used for Venus as the Morning Star, associated with the bringer of light and knowledge. It is most likely to have originated from the observations of prehistoric astronomers. When viewed from Earth, successive inferior conjunctions of Venus plot a nearly perfect pentagram shape around the zodiac every eight years. Many Neopagans, especially Wiccans, use the pentagram as a symbol of faith similar to the Christian cross or the Jewish Star of David. / It is not, however, a universal symbol for Neopaganism, and is rarely used by Reconstructionists. / Its religious symbolism is commonly explained by reference to the neo-Pythagorean understanding that the five vertices of the pentagram represent the four elements with the addition of Spirit as the uppermost point. / As a representation of the elements, the pentagram is involved in the Wiccan practice of summoning the elemental spirits of the four directions at the beginning of a ritual. The outer circle of the circumscribed pentagram is sometimes interpreted as binding the elements together or bringing them into harmony with each other. The Neopagan pentagram is generally displayed with one point up, partly because of the “inverted” goat’s head pentagram’s association with Satanism; however, within traditional forms of Wicca a pentagram with two points up is associated with the Second Degree Initiation and in this context has no relation to Satanism. Because of a perceived association with Satanism and also because of negative societal attitudes towards Neopagan religions and the “occult”, many United States schools have sought to prevent students from displaying the pentagram on clothing or jewelry. In public schools, such actions by administrators have been determined to be in violation of students’ First Amendment right to free exercise of religion. / -from wikipedia also available / the verse powers / “ thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) /

  • This image i posted before adding colour, now it is finished and is shown as it should be seen. / In my research into the festival of yule i found that its the time when the Holly King who raigns for twelve days is defeated by the young Oak King of the year to come. And this is what lead to the twelve days of Christmas as they are seen today. This festival is a solar celebration as from now on the days get lighter and the dead ground of winter will soon begin to grow once more. / Whilst the branch’s of ever greens invite the fairy foke into the home for good luck, Here these are shown along the bottom arch, flanked by sage and rosemary. In addition i have chosen to show the winter sun in muted colours containging a seven pointer pentagram also linked to this festival

  • Awesome for any outing, display your way for all to see ; ) / Peace, / Leah ♥

  • The Pentagram is a symbol of a star encased in a circle. Has 5 points and each has its own meaning. The upward point of the star represents the Spirit, the other four points represent an element: Air, Water, Earth & Fire / It symbolize that all’s connected and everything occurs in cycles begining to end and starst all over again… Extra information: The Pentagram As A Christian Symbol / Up until medieval times, the five points of the pentagram represented the five wounds of Christ on the Cross. It was a symbol of Christ the Saviour. This is in stark contrast to today where the pentagram is criticized by modern Fundamentalist Christians, as being a symbol of evil. The church eventually chose the cross as a more significant symbol for Christianity, and the use of the pentagram as a Christian symbol gradually ceased.
