Queen of Pentacles This is the practical, down-to-earth woman. An enthusiastic outdoors woman, she’s always encouraging friends and family to exercise. She also owns her own successful business. Her accounting is scrupulous, but that doesn’t mean she’s afraid to spend. She loves beautiful things and has an artist’s eye. Her home is impeccably decorated with paintings, furniture, and trinkets. Her garden is also beautifully maintained. Tasteful is the perfect word for her. Likewise in her dress, jewelry and make-up. As in work, nothing less that giving her all to her family will do for the Queen of Pentacles. She wants them to have the best so they can succeed. But this can put a lot of pressure on them. The queen does not understand that buying a child a Steinway piano will not make them Beethoven; also, this Queen’s pragmatism, her dislike of anything strange or distasteful, may exclude anything unique or imaginative – solutions as well as people. Her children or partner feel that they can’t be themselves and still be loved. / to read more go to this site Closeups /

The Wiccan symbol. A witch finds strong symbolism in its 5 points, which represent the elements (spirit, earth, wind, fire, water). It also means protection. One should be warned, however. This design is very bold and very large. Only wear this if you are comfortable explaining it to people.

A creative pagan fantasy design depicting the burning times.Never Again was created by Aloramyst, to represent the Inquisition Times when many people were burnt at the stake and persecuted in many ways. It was a time of moral decisions, which is represented by the six pentacles. The pentacles are in white to represent spiritual choices as the color white has often been associated to spirit. A conscious choice was made and actions were taken. The juggling effect of the pentacles represents the difficulty in having to make such difficult choices. The two woman on either side are looking outward seeking desperately for understanding, justice and compassion. The color of their hair being portrayed in black and white represents the need for balance and diplomacy, which does not come forward. Desperation can felt when you look at their eyes. The lips are colored red to represent the words that have been spoken and the result of blood shed. The woman in the center with upraised hands, represents the ritual of seeking for higher resolution and justice. The Full Moon represents the Goddess and those who draw on her strength for protection, guidance and much more. It represents a sense of awaking from a dream like state or returning to one depending upon your beliefs. The moon being used as the seventh pentacle represents trying to make sense of it all. And the feeling of the moon being so far away from the situation creates a feeling of a fear as if being abandoned. However the choice to persecute other human beings was that of humans, not that of Divinity. This occurred due to fear, ignorance and mankind’s desire for power over others. It is a very controversial piece dependant upon your beliefs. It is a reminder that fear and ignorance can destroy, and not to let fear rule every again.
