  • The “Queen’s Necklace” is a stretch of the Southern California coastline from about Redondo Beach on the extreme right with the high rises of Downtown Los Angeles behind to the Santa Monica high rises on the far left and the Santa Monica Bay in the foreground. This image is a panorama made up of six images.

  • Rough seas at Scarborough, Cape Peninsula, South Africa.

  • this image is taken from the same spot as my other eddrachillis image, on the stoer peninsula in assynt, sutherland , scotland. this one has a differing light and exposure.

  • Melville Bay, Gove Peninsula. Northern Territory, Australia.

  • This quarantine jetty at Point Nepean was built in 1879 and was used to off load cattle into the Quarantine Stations.

  • Sorrento back beach, Victoria. Pentax K200D, 55mm Lens, F/L 28.1, F/9.5, ISO 100.

  • Location: Portsea Back Beach, Portsea, Victoria, Australia / Date taken: 13/9/09 / Specifications: Canon 500D/ISO200/F8 The glorious rock formation of London Bridge at Portsea. The embedded foot prints of many a visitor create an intersting effect upon the sand.

  • The cliff-face of White cliffs lookout on the foreshore in Rye.

  • Violent waves approach as the tide comes in, at Sorrento Ocean Backbeach

  • Paw prints left by a canine friend at Pearse’s Beach, Blairgowrie

  • This was taken one evening at Pearse’s Beach, Blairgowrie, Victoria. / One of my favourite beaches for photo’s. / This, along with much of my other work is inspired by Peter McConchie. / The ’’walls’’ on either side of this shot would be no taller in height than 3 inches, and the rock pictured at the end of the opening probably stands 1 foot tall.

  • A piece of soaked driftwood washed ashore at St.Andrews Ocean Beach, Victoria on a stormy afternoon.

  • Sorrento Ocean Back Beach, with the tide on its way in. / The rocks in the background are usually accessible by foot when the tide is out, but when the sun sets, the water comes in a good 15 meters and submerges quite an awful amount of the beach.

  • Sun was setting one night and I thought that it would look gorgeous setting over the dunes in the distance so I popped around the corner and took a few snaps from the top of where Highbury Road ends.

  • Yet another photo from my favourite beach to photograph, Pearse’s Road Back Beach.

  • I absolutely love the coastal spinifex grass that can be found all over the Mornington Peninsula, and feel it always makes for a good photo. I was particularly lucky to have the sun setting behind this particular clump of grass, once again, yet another from Pearse’s Beach.

  • I edited this photo very minimally as the beauty it possessed naturally was awe inspiring. Just as the sun was going down on Pearse’s beach, Blairgowrie, the way the light reflected off these shrubs was gorgeous.

  • Taken peering over a cliff-face at London Bridge, Portsea. A gorgeous afternoon and with the tide gently rolling in, made for some great shots. A beautiful place. / Once again, a perfect example of how coastal spinifex grass can be very effective and eye-catching.

  • A simple photo, but I feel it’s a powerful one. It resembles how something so small and fragile, can grow into something beautiful, with little to no help from man kind, only mother nature.

  • Taken from atop the cliffs at Pearse’s beach, as the sun is beginning to set.

  • This tree caught my eye as you can see the holes in which insects have eaten their way into the wood, and with the sun on the particular angle it was, at the time, made for a decent photo.
