Presently drawing or painting the 12 signs of the Zodiac is my absolutely HIT in order to be creative and also to create a calendar with this theme for 2009. So let me start with the Capricorn: December 22 – January 20 / Symbol is Goat / Element is Earth / Ruler is Saturn / Classical music is Brahms Child of Harmony and Patience. Another Clydie. There were about a dozen of them in this paddock in Mansfield and I used a roll or two of film on them. From these photos I have composed many drawings and paintings. / Water colour pencils on mount board. Size approx. 25cm x 34cm. 2003 Sold. My drawing is on Arches paper full sheet. I have used graphite pencil, coloured pencil, watercolour and digital collage. The drawing is 1 of 2, the other one called Email is almost a mirror version with a few variations so that I did not go mad while doing it. (H) 56 cm x (W) 80 cm.

After I demonstrated a few wave painting techniques, I later thought to join them up into a painting! A Spontaneous watercolour! Watercolour 14” x 10” on Bockingford rough 140lb. So far, nobody has spotted the little men in white shirts, clinging for life, to the torn-off mast (left side of painting). I’ve entered this into Impressionism Cafe,‘seascapes’

/ Morning Light World English Bible / Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. From the ‘Connection Series’, this is a pencil drawing, coloured with aquacolour crayons on paper… i have played around with this quite a bit in photoshop also, applying layers and more colour to enrich the overall look When i ponder this, it gives me a feeling of hope, like after the mourning, there is morning and the sun comes out again….. It’s all about our connection with nature and other lofty things :)
