Drawn in 2004. Age 17. Only with a blue biro pen. This little chappy is called a Plar… Beneath his fragile form and past his adorable, alluring eyes is a courageous, determined, loving little creature. These creatures are going to star in a series of childrens books i’m working on. To see more concept art and ideas please have a little look below. I’ve finally got around to making this one into a tee :) Will try to make some more of my drawings into tees soon, suggestions on which ones are more then welcome! / Zoom in for full effect. This illustration was published in the 2007 Semi-Permanent book, yay! Also looks hot on colour

The North Sea at Whitby. The Herring boats at misty dawn, / To get the details of the boats correct, I’ve used a Victorian photo as the subject. I liked the very hard pen ink lines of the foreground, contrasting with the soft, misty, wet-in-wet background. 90 lb watercolour, medium rough paper. / 12”x8”

My art is based on everything I see around me. This is from the idea that eyes are the windows of the soul. A2 on cartridge papar with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen. Can be viewed any way up it is up to you.

Hand drawn A2 image on cartridge paper with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen probably took about a year to do, but I don’t pay attention to the time or the drawing until it is nearly complete. Just been looking to buy some more pens and found out the drawn line is only 0.2mm! Featured in Works on Paper winner of the Patterns challenge in Finks in Ink

Eheh.. i hope no one’s too annoyed by me and my postings this week.. i’ve been away for a month, i mean!! that’s like being deprived of chocolate for a month!! O_O” So now, meet Schmoo, VECTORED!!! funny how i manage to redo this whole drawing in one night, with the scanned reference.. it’s like, i can just get the curves just how i want it to beeeeee…. hehehehehhehehe~ XD this is drawn in the same style as Frothie with lotsa lotsa lines!! 8D Warning: i just sketched Schmoo earlier in the morning.. it’ll be a Just for Laugh version.. but don’t worry, won’t upload it until i got Julian’s new look done.. he’s be tugging my tee all day..
