The water around this place is absolutley amazing – the most beautiful blues I have ever seen…unfortunately not so good for capturing in IR…but I managed to get the sky to turn out like the colour of the water. Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The morning rush across the street from the train station and metro. Everyone jostling for space. I think it shows how hectic life can be in an Asian metropolis. / Today was my first try at using long exposures, and I felt that this was the best of the bunch from today. Any constructive criticism is welcome. I took this close-by to my home. !

In the Australian Wetlands enclosure, Taronga Zoo, Sydney. There is a water-level viewing point and the Pelicans were very close to me when I took this picture. Featured in You’re Accepted (11 May 09).

When Judah cleans fish the Pelicans get the remains, but they gotta move in fast before the others get there first! Taken near Pelican Island Sebastian, FL, along Indian river drive, where every October through March, the White Pelicans from as far as Vancouver, Canada arrive here for the winter.
