This giraffe peeked through the shadows at me and seemed to be making a statement. He reminded me of my grandson who does much the same thing almost every time I try to take his picture.

This fellow had me going for a time.. I do find time to read in my hammock when things slow down ( Me ). I was reading and it was getting late in the day.. I heard this mellow deep peeper call.. Well after some looking around I found out where he was living.. Safe and also made him sound so big.. LOL.. Calling the girls I bet..

Very tiny ground cover – sort of a wild strawberry. The leaves dwarf the fruit and here and there you just see a red spec trying to be visual, I found a nice one that said: Peekaboo! Here I am! Canon Ixus 960si

I was lucky to have a FEW special encounters with Sitka Black-tailed Deer this summer! The mother and this baby tolerated me following them around for nearly half an hour and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! Samira Sahara, age 2 – Hillcrest Park, Kansas City, MO It was our last big snow of the season, I took the kids to the park. Despite being covered in a foot of snow, Samira was determined to explore every part of the jungle gym playground, slide on every slide, and walk across every bridge. Took this just before she decided to go down a tunnel slide.
