daily a soft embrace / between wood and water / a rising tide Porlock Wier – somerset
Sandsend, near Whitby, North Yorkshire, England. The sun rising over the cliffs at dawn and the sea at low tide leaving still waters behind.
This was a crack of dawn shot on the North coast of Cornwall. I spent most of the time keeping warm in the car and in the dark. But it was worth the wait. Mowenstow, Bude. Cornwall, England.

Last one for the series. Similar to Fluid but different. / / I really liked the darkness at the top and bottom of this one. / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /
I am most proud of this shot so far in my short time doing photography. This image incorporates my passionate nature with my love of the ocean. I used to lobster fish with my Dad and so the ocean holds a lot of dear, and not so dear LOL, memories for me. I almost froze my hands off doing this. It was snowing a little while before I took this shot so you can imagine close to the water, with a breeze, how cold it was. However, in the name of love and romance, anything goes! LOL
Boulders, Cornwall. Duotoned, as ever!
Rock formations at low tide. Taken with my 5D and the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens. This is a 82mm lens and I am currently using Cokin Filters (handheld).....uuuuurrgh. I am very keen to get a Lee Neutral Density Filter set. If you have this setup I would be very interested to hear from you what experiences you have made in regards to vignetting and what Lee components you have mounted on your lens. Thanks heaps
Full moon to the left…airport to the right, a nugget in the sea and a sprinkled sky 13 Sec Exposure / Focal Length 16.0 mm / F6.3
Taken at Happisburgh on the Norfolk coast. Unfortunately it was too cloudy to capture the sunrise :( / Got a handful of shots that almost justified getting up at 5am on a Sunday!

/ / / Scuba Diva is my latest creation for the “Children of the World” Series / She is a mixed media production created on brown paper over white gesso / using chalk pastels, acyrlic paint and charcoal. Scuba Diva was influenced and inspired by two friends of mine here on Red Bubble, both of their names have the initials MT Muscular Teeth who a great friend of mine challenged me to create this one… and MattTworkowski inspired me with his beautiful photographs from under the sea…. /
Taken on the Platt River in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Michigan. Thank you for your time and viewing. Those are not petoskey stones, just water reflections.
This is one of the few remaining groynes that are along the pebble ridge at Westward Ho, in North devon (UK) / The light that evening was just fantastic, and have never seen anything quite like it again. / This is a very much photographed image, though i have never taken another one as good. Minolta dynax 7D / ISO 100 / f/8 / 4 sec exposure / 17mm focal length / ND Grad 0.9 / Warm up filter Featured in / All about the Light / Going Coastal / Youre Accepted / Northern Landscape
This was taken at a place called Swansea which had these terrific pebbles on the beach. This was the sunset on my first day in Tassie. I managed to get awesome weather the whole time I was there.
Death-like sparks burn cold and hard / A symphony of sea salt soldiers / Shaping their invasion on awaiting land Leaping from splashes / Grasping for oxygen / A rush to do battle come the day, come the time Roaring to shore in spectacular voice / To crush the life from a million weeping pebbles / As they pray for forgiveness / Down on bended knee / Begging for second chances And all the while / Eyes peer from deep forbidden sea / For a slender gaze at the battle afoot / Gossiping like fishwives over sips of milky tea / As they twitch through heavy net curtains / And tut tut tut at the youth of today Then scuttle away / Chasing the tails of those who fled first / As the wounded and fallen lay still behind Time to draw a new breath whilst plans are redrawn / And commence another charge toward the quivering shore —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- Location: Auchmithie, Angus, Scotland © Donald Cameron 2009 / Monophotography.co.uk
