This is a photograph of our 5 month old Italian greyhound Phoebe roo, they are just a smaller breed than the greyhound. She loves to cuddle with us and her favorite blankets. They have a very thin coat and get chilled easily. When she sleeps on this blanket we don’t always see her so we yell “where’s my Phoebe” !!! ? and her head pops up. It’s kind of an abstract doggie portrait.

Pilgrim provides food, medicine and trauma counseling to refugees of Uganda’s decades-long civil war who live in refugee camps in the northeastern region of Uganda. In 2006 they started Beacon College to bring hope, healing and secondary education to refugee children. Beacon College provides education to 470 children ages 13-21. Before coming to the school, all the children lived in refugee camps lacking basic necessities. Many of the students are former abductees – girls having been put into rape camps and boys either used as “beasts of burden” or forced to be child soldiers. Most of these children are orphans. Your purchase will be thoroughly utilized toward the assistance of the above mentioned children, for which I can’t thank you enough. by ingewhat a lovely place to find, Old Manali is a wonderfull old village and there are so many things to see..I’m very happy I’ve been there..

we stayed 2 weeks in a very big, beautifull wooden, houseboat on Nagin Lake, Kashmir, India. The nights where soft and tranquil, it was quiet, romantic but also mysterious..sometimes, even, at night a local vendor would peddle past to sell his goods, like corn burning on a little fire in a little stove ‘in’ his canoe..so when he peddled away you could only see his litle fire in his canoe….

This was done with the wrinkle art and done in watercolor. / 7’’ high by 12’’ long / This is the 7th in a study of Bamboo. To sit and listen to the wind wisper to the blades of leaves, moving the shoots together to make the music.

Taken tonight at Mindarie. A lovely evening for these guys who were just sitting back chatting. Hope they didnt mind me taking their photo! I went fishing with my brother Michael, he caught 2 fish and put them back, I caught zilch! So started taking photo’s.. This one was on the way back to the car. I was quite happy with the first shot I took, Michael then stood alongside me and gave me instructions to finally get this one! / Im glad he did, I had way to much black in mine! I really like this one, I love the serenity and peacefullness of it – hope you do too :) “AS IS” Straight from my Sony Cyber-shot!

A very peacefull early morning scene captured on a “family reunion” trip to Little Lake, Michigan in July, 2002. Although this is in the upper peninsula, we still had temperatures in the mid and upper 90’s and I got the worst sunburn of my life. Nikon N90S with Nikkor 80-400mm zoom lens on Fujichrome Provia 100 film. (Shown in black frame with off white matte)
