  • A beautiful winter sunrise onto Pikes Peak mountain from Colorado Springs, CO.

  • Middle Prong Little River is in constant change. This day, after a day of raining, the water flow is up to normal where the day before it was a trickle. Its flow rolls small pebbles further down stream while going over or around others. The forest around it too, is in transition. Its leaves are slowly changing to their showy autumn splendor, or have already died and fell off. The Forest floor will soon be changing too, from a time when its minerals and nourishments are about depleted; to a time when the falls decaying leaves replenish its needs….. We go through transitions every day; some are wonderful as falls glorious display or bad like the decaying leaves. We have choices to make, like the stream we can change the path we’re on or simply overcome the obstacles facing us. We sometimes don’t have a choice in the change as in the death of a loved one. Throughout them all we must be like the mountain stream and move on. For if the stream don’t move on, it become stagnate and filled with unpleasantness…………Middle Prong Little River is located in the Tremont area of the Great Smoky Mountains Camera: Canon 40D… Lens: Canon 24-105 f/4…. / Focal Length: 40mm… Manual… / Shutter Speed: 1 Second… F/Stop: 14… / ISO: 100… Tripod: Bogen…… Bias 0.0EV… / Filters:B+W Polarizer… Cable Release… Format:RAW /

  • Two tree trunks wedged against the rocks beneath the thundering force of Turtletown Creek’s eastern falls.

  • Precariously perched in a small inch deep eddy atop the slick rock face of the west falls, these leaves rested just inches from the edge above the waterfall’s plunge pool.

  • Water pulled into a curve as it begins its approach to the edge of the cliff atop the west falls.

  • After climbing up the western Turtletown Creek waterfall’s rock face, these powerful rapids can be found.

  • Fall foliage in the Appalachians along Turtletown Creek.

  • This is a classic location. Sydney’s eastern suburbs have some great beachside locations, and Coogee is amongst the best. This was taken at sunrise on a warm, spring day. The cloud formation dispersed not long after the shot, however whilst it was around it provided a great show of orange and red glows.
