This is the reclining Buddha in Thailand. Before I went to photograph this some of those ‘fake police’ they have in Thailand told me it wasn’t open and that I was going to have to go on an alternative tour. I smiled politely and studied his eyes, I had read about these guys in some magazines. I was polite and completely ignored him. Later that day I met with a girl that had been completely ripped off, she had been taken to a fake gemstone place and was completely sold a whole load of worthless glass. At this point I like to say intuition is quite an amazing thing!

This was a little notice board left hanging in the Church. I was surprised to find this as everything else that had hung on the walls (The Stations, crosses etc) were gone. I’m not sure exactly when that little card was placed in the bottom left, but I assume thats were prayer topics and prayer requests were put. Its quite a poignant one to be left there. I get the feeling that maybe why no one has taken the board down.

Recognised in many religions as the eye of god, a symbol of fertility, the greeter at the gates of heaven, bringer of luck and health the mysteriously stunning peacock today still makes us stop to appreciate natures wonder. / I found it very hard to produce just one image from a bird as spectacular as a Peacock. So here are the three images together as one. I actually found it hard to stop at three images!
