In the spirit of the holiday season, and with the world currently in such an angry state, I can think of no greater gift than peace amongst us all. This was done in Photoshop from a PD NASA image. In response to blamo’s (Tone) lighting a single red candle at midnight for Peace, this is my contribution… In 1863, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote these words: I heard the bells on Christmas Day / Their old familiar carols play / And mild and sweet the words repeat, / Of peace on earth, good will to men. I thought how as the day had come, / The bellfries of all Christendom / Had roll’d along th’ unbroken song / Of peace on earth, good will to men.
