This mixed media work is created with several photographs. Ted made wonderful cutouts and I created the arrangements. I used a fractal background and several filters of a graphic program to end up with this result. The angel is holding a dove and that is why I came up with this title. It is a path used by hikers as well as Moose, Grizzly, Wolves, Fox and other wildlife. A red squirrel appears suddenly, skipping effortlessly across the overhead branches, teaching me that to be natural and spontaneous is the vital key, / as shards of golden sunshine fragmented diffusion on the leaves all around the brilliant phlox and foxgloves, provided a welcome spree to the eye. Just then a dog fox came prowling, sniffing assiduously the downwind breeze. CHICKADEE ROSE This piece is a combination of about 10 of my original photos…I was seeking to embody the wonderment of creation in all her glory…but from the perspective of one little grey bird with black head patches…they are a most curious creature. *I have noticed an obvious silence from many of my “fans” as I have created these last many loving and peaceful works of mine…I am seeking to live in JOY from now on. “The Joy of the Lord is my strength”…hmmmmm? I have pondered this verse for decades… now I wish to see what it means in daily practice. / I noticed that these works have been overlooked by most of my groups as well (not worthy to be featured) but my craftsmanship is none the less…if not even far beyond my past works…for I can smile in the act of creation now…welcome to the new me. You should try the same…for my war is over. / At least for now…still have my sword… just choose not to carry it around all the time now ;) I hope you will forgive my lack of rage…and see the beauty I am trying to share with you…and feel my Joy! / / I Love You Anyway, / Dale
