Taken in the Botanical Gardens at San Antonio Texas.
I took my grandson and niece to a peaceful pond yesterday to just enjoy the great outdoors. It was also an opportunity to try out my new Nikon 14-24mm wide angle lens. Kimberly Palmer had encouraged me earlier to invest in this kind of lens, and I’m grateful to her for the tip. I got this shot of the pond at Magnolia Ridge in Washington, Louisiana, and decided to apply the Orton treatment for greater effect. Hope you like it and thanks for taking a look!
