Taken in Melbourne, Australia within the Melbourne Art Gallery complex. The object seen in the photo is of a sound partition used to screen off the cafeteria noise form the Gallery courtyard. (If I recall that correctly anyway.)

The “Tesselated Pavement” is located on Tasmania’s east coast, near “Pirate’s Bay”. There are two forms of the pavement, “Loaf Pavers” and “Pan Pavers”. This image is the “Loaf Pavers”. (Shane Walker has a nice image of the “Pan Pavers” on his site) Both forms are created by weather and sea washing away soft rock leaving hard rock behind. The “Loaf Pavers” get their name because they look like loaves of bread in tins.
