Building face of Louvre in rich colour
Collioure
In photography, timing is of the essence. This was so with this shot, within five minutes of taking it, it was bustling with people after an evening’s shopping. Later in the night it would be teeming with people, as it has one of the more popular night spots of Geelong amid it and sees a great deal of foot traffic. It is the Little Malop St Mall.
What came first, the wall or the tree…?
the sea retreats every day – but always returns, relentless, unstoppable, without mercy. taken on the stone pavements at Kilve, Somerset.
Steel covers on a fountain in Liverpool.
armed with my one of my lovely little Holga plastic fantastic cameras I got right up close and fairly personal with one of my local lighthouses….. on lighthouse day…..... on the headland of Wollongong Harbour…. it’s one of our local iconic landmarks….
continuing on my holga stroll around the foreshore of the beautiful harbour in the town that I currently live….. between two stunning surf beaches is a little deep water harbour and an area of rocky laval pools and such like….. and this particular natural little rocky depression is a real favorite with bathers who don’t want to venture out in the sometimes quite heavy surf….. in this image three little kids are all clutching the one body board and dog paddling up and down in the calm luke warm water and they are having a great time…... and remember ….. it’s winter here…... oh how we suffer round these parts….... :)

A photograph taken in the heart of Eastern Washington State. Reminds me of all the road trips I took as a kid in the back of a dusty old truck, rumbling along the bottoms of these cliffs and coulees, with the scent of dry sage permeating the air.
When afternoon sends it’s hibiscus-tint chill across the city’s scorched pavement, the ears listening in on the girls’ soft, butter-pursed lips, begin to quiver and melt…
This is the Centennial Bridge, located in my hometown of Miramichi, New Brunswick. Before this bridge was built in 1967, there was a ferry used for crossing the Miramichi river. *All proceeds of sales are donated to the Hope Animal Shelter Please check out my other gallery here at RedBubble, Macabrecat , for my cat photography. Things have been pretty wet as of late, so I seem only 2 be getting rain related fotos recently for my Street Moments series. Reflective realities of our urban landscape. These moments are photographed in the urban cityscape of Barcelona.
This is the HDR version of this photo. Taken near the Eastern Sierra Nevada town of Independence, Ca. The road leads to the Mount Whitney Fish Hatchery which is a beautiful place. In the background you can see some of the Alabama Hills which I have featured in other photographs. We were driving to the hatchery when these flowers caught my attention. I forget what they are called at the moment. They were really prickly though. Since this was taken there was a massive mudslide that killed all the fish in the hatchery, destroyed houses and flooded this road with debris and tons of mud. It looked like quite a project to clean up the mess.
It was a rush to get to the Tessalated Pavement, and we arrived just at sunset. / An amazing place!
This was originally a photo of a pavement but it has since been altered digitally in Photoshop with colour enhancements and a number of filters for a more artistic effect. Artwork from Ireland. Hope you like it.
