This photo was taken during a extreme low tide just after sunrise at Monkey Mia in Shark Bay Western Australia. You could walk out about 100 meters from the beach before you got to the water! The location of Monkey Mia is the only place on Western Australia where the sun rises over the ocean. / As you can see in this photo the sun has been blocked by the large cloud formation, but can be seen in the reflections off the wet sand. One of the many stunning views from the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. I loved the patterns the clouds made on the ground.
One of my first picture taken over the week-end with the 1Ds Mark III. The dynamic range of this camera is simply unbelievable…
In a reflective mood….....
The day summer arrived and it got stinking hot. This shot was taken at 5am and not a cloud in sight. The days temperature climbed up to 40.2°C in Brisbane. Summer is over is just over a week. This morning was certainly what I would expect in winter, crisp, vibrant and cloudless. Keep it coming…love it
Taken at Point Henry, Geelong. Tidal activity had created the zig-zag formation of seaweed.
A triptych of untouched reflection photographs. Best viewed LARGE
You really should look at this open in large.. I mean go ahead press that button :) this is a Ceiba tree!.. you could see it perfectly.. its against the sky.. AND.. its one of the most endearing trees in all the world. strong as steel, you do not want to climb this one with all of its thorns. this one was flowering with its orquid looking flowers.. hope you can see this, but ! you have to see it large.
Abstract Macro Photography This image is a little part of someones garden fence. i think that this picture looks like the sea – sand – horizon – sky i have cropped this picture slightly. i have adjusted the brightness/ contrast/ hue and saturation a little bit also, just to bring out the brilliance of what i photographed.

Clouds, hand drawn – for drawing day. Then added to photoshop. Added a tiny square, replicated a bajillion times and “stuff”. No monkeys were harmed in the making of this tee despite all efforts.
