hades as he waits for the return of persephone watercolour, 2005 I use windsor and newton watercolour paints on partly wet 300gr weight acid free fabriano watercolour paper with big brushes. From start to finish is one mad rush! I love the freedom and accidental nature of watercolour and the fact that I can’t think while I am doing it, I have no real control. Sometimes they don’t work and then sometimes it all just falls together and I am just as surprised as everyone else!

I WENT TO BUY AN ICE CREAM AT A BEACH SIDE HUT IN GIBRALTAR. THIS LAD WAS WAITING PATIENTLY BESIDE ME. HE DID NOT NOTICE THE QUIET SHUTER ON THE LITTLE CANON RANGEFINDER CAMERA. ILFORD HP5 B&W FILM WITH POST PROCESSING.

The T Shirt Revolution group is having a textless seven deadly sins tee shirt challege at the moment and this is my entry. I’ve been sitting here thinking it always seems to be the seven deadly sins that get all the press and how the seven contrary virtues never seem to get an outing….. so this entry contains all the sins and all the virtues in one hit. This is the whole package…. all light and all darkness flow from here…... mix lust, gluttony, avarice, sloth, anger, envy and pride in with humility, kindness, abstinence, chastity, patience, liberality and diligence … it’s a combination that sounds like it would mix up a bit like a sack full of kittens …..... and it comes out as …...sunday bloody sunday….....it’s what we long for and what we loathe all at the same time…....

This is Molly… our gorgeous Ragdoll. Molly is such a quiet and refined cat… she just sits in front of her bowl to let you know she wouldn’t mind a bite to eat…. Unlike our younger cat Rani… who is like a bull in a china shop and is VERY loud when she’s hungry!!! They’re like chalk and cheese but I love them both… : )
