Late afternoon at East Hill, Albury, NSW, Australia. This spot is only 5 minutes drive from my home and still within the bounds of Albury, it is a popular walking track and a favourite place of mine and my dogs.

I love patterns in nature, call me a huge sucker for them. It can be abstraction or realism, but either way I just love em. It ranks up there with textures in nature for me. But when you add a lil light into that, you can get an image that just tends to pop. This one did that very thing to me, when I was out shooting. It really caught my eye….captured on a farm in rural Colorado, in the morning light. / Thoughts appreciated! :)

I asked God to spare me pain. / God said, No. / Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and / brings you closer to me. I asked God to make my spirit grow. / God said, No. / You must grow on your own, but I will prune / you to make you fruitful. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. / God said, No. / I will give you life so that you may / enjoy all things. I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much / as he loves me. Wheeler Farm is a century old working farm, preserved in the center of the Salt Lake Valley for visitors to wander through, feeling the spirit of what it must have been like for their great grandparents who lived with nature, before we paved over it. This was taken November 7 so most of the leaves have fallen, leaving a carpet of gold along the floor of a trail beside the stream going through the middle of the farm. / Enjoy.
