  • I thought the contrast was a little harsh on the original version of this work, so I’ve softened the colour by adjusting the balance, and I’ve also added photographic filters.   • The Beautifull Malvern Hills in the heart of England. Seen here looking North from British camp, an ancient Iron Age Hill fort , and reputed to be the inspiration for Tolkien’s Weather Top where Frodo is stabbed by the Nasgul’s blade. Taken late in May, just before sunset. The Victorian town of Great Malvern is nestled into the highest of the hills, and is famous for its natural mineral water springs and wells which run freely from the hillside. The Queen even drinks Malvern Water…...could Malvern have been Tolkien’s Rivendell?
