I wanted to do some shots that some what depic life in normality… meaning images that are like cut scenes from life, without everything being arranged perfectly, well i added the rose, but that was from a vase near by… the lighting was dull but it created a nice effect, the angles where not planned, just taken pretty much as i saw them… Hope u like it!! Enjoy!!

The male Eastern bluebird hovering protectively over his babes in the nesting box is a wonderful symbol of fatherhood and a great way to say Happy Father’s Dad to that special dad who has offered security and warmth to his family. (This photo was taken late in the afternoon as the sun was setting, and the bluebird was facing west with the day’s last light shining on him).

I had this up as a photo on redbubble, but not long ago I decided to remove all my photography and be soley recognised as an artist. / I plan to eventually draw or paint all my favourite photography (that is suitable) and this is the first one. / This was a really quick portrait, it took only about 2 hours in one session of non stop drawing, unlike all my others that had extreme detail, and took a week or two to do. / I just wanted to test myself and see how quick I could produce something half decent. / Not one of my best, but I kinda like it for it’s simplicity. / I may redo this with more detail in graphite down the track…..... Completed 14th Jan,2009 / Charcoal pencils on Reeves white paper A3

This calendar started out as a simple idea, so I thought…I had a few patterns with hearts in them…figured making a few more (eight more) wouldn’t bee too tough. Well, now I know the meaning of artistic discipline…HA! I think I am done making lil pretty hearts and swirls for a while…lol!! / I hope you like!
